Nice staff and a very warm-hearted owner who is eager to help the guests. Open-air rooftop where you can feel the cool breeze. Offer everything with kitchen and bathroom stuff. Just bring your towel and a happy attitude. I took the buses from the beach to the other beach. I didn't bring an International driver's license, so no car for me. I could rent an electric bike, but I would rather sit on the air-conditioning buses. All the beaches in Miyako Jima are good, so taking buses close to any beach was not a problem. And this hostel is very close to the bus stop which goes to the airport also. Google map bus schedule is up to date, so you can trust that and just give and take 5-7min. I will miss this place for sure. I attached the food photo which the owner cooked for the guest that he caught on that day and the beach is 25 min walk from the hostel.

The rooms are super clean and well furnished. We stayed in the individual chalets so it was with your own washroom and shower but the shared ones for the individual rooms are super clean and functional as well. The beds are comfortable and big for a couple. The location is near a popular beach with a beautiful sunset! To travel round the island, you can rent a car from the property which is super convenient for the guest. The staff, their occasional friends and even other guests are what make Guesthouse Koa that much more special! The well furnished common areas allow people to spend quality “me” time or interact with staff and guest to enrich your journey. Atsushi-san and his staff have created a really special stay on island for travellers! Thank you so much!

Nastanitev Private Resort Hotel RENN se nahaja v mestu Miyako Island, le 2,6 km od znamenitosti Plaža Shigira Beach, in ponuja vrt, teraso ter storitev concierge. Renn san was super friendly, he provided valuable inputs for our snorkeling plans. I wish we stayed there 1-2 more nights to fully utilize his inputs! XD The facility has a great view of the night sky, if you happen to catch a good cloud-less weather while you are there, you would be able to enjoy a good view of the Milky Way!

Fantastic host, super helpful, kind and welcoming! Overall extremely comfortable for a hostel, with all the facilities you need in great condition. Having bikes available (regular ones are free) was SUCH a nice bonus, it literally made my trip. I could get around easily (you do need to like biking) including going to the city, or to nearby beaches, or even to much further places.

Located in Miyako Island, Minnkayado intoparitosura is a renovated traditional okinawan building with a garden, terrace, shared lounge, and free WiFi. The host is super friendly and open. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the sunset. Very calm, rural atmosphere away from the resort hotels and beach selfie instagrammers. But a small and very beautiful beach is within walking distance, and another where you can snorkel and see sea turtles is a few kilometers away.
