Very accommodating and excellent hosts. Not many guests, as most people stay at their larger location across the street. I originally booked 3 nights online, but stayed again after I returned from a trek and they changed me the same excellent rate I got online.

Featuring a garden, the guest house is close to several noted attractions, around 1.5 km from Shanti Stupa and around 900 metres from Main Bazaar. The property is a 1-minute walk from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa and a 19-minute walk from Soma Gompa. I stayed here my first days in Leh, and came back again for a few nights before leaving. Everything is clean, beds are very comfortable and warm, beautiful view of the mountains from the terrace. Far enough from the town center to be quiet and peaceful- it is possible to walk to the bazaar but in the first 48 hrs you may need to take a cab back up the hill. Hot water + wifi worked nicely. Great meals available from the kitchen, and filtered water for refilling one's own bottle. Padma was very kind, accommodating, and helpful when it came to booking taxis. I would stay here again!
