Julay Guest House, a property with a garden and a terrace, is set in Leh, 1.6 km from Shanti Stupa, 200 metres from Soma Gompa, as well as 2 km from Namgyal Tsemo Gompa. This was a wonderful place to stay. The room was central with traditional decor and beside an atmospheric river plus had every comfort like plentiful hot water shower, cleanliness and tons of warm blankets for the cold and very reasonable price.

Located near Namgyal Tsemo Gompa and Soma Gompa, Rock Castle Residency is in Leh and provides free private parking and a restaurant. With quiet street views, this accommodation features a terrace. Such a beautiful and clean property! We loved it. Staff were very accommodating, respectful, friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this property for anyone who is going to Leh.

The bedroom, bathroom and facilities were spotless and there is always hot water available. The hosts are a kind mind and they are always there to help you. The location is excellent on a residential area, you are out of the hustle and bustle but you can walk to the center in a few minutes.

I really enjoyed the stay. Padma (I believe is the owner) was really attentive and regularly checked on me if I was doing alright which was really nice. There is proper hot water available for shower too. It it not centralised, so just turn on the switch and let the tank hear up the water. The room was really spacious and the bed was comfortable. Had a really good sleep. I think no compromises were made in terms of comfort of stay for the guests. Some of the power sockets kinda have international adapter built into it. So, I could charge my devices without needing an adapter. I appreciate that extra touch in the room design. Food was also good, with big portion. There is like a shared balcony area with nice view too.

Offering a restaurant that serves Indian and continental specialities, Ikraam Inn Guest House is located 2 km from the Lal Chowk and 2.5 km from the beautiful Dal Lake. This place is a family run business, Ilham, the owner and his mother, Mme Sweety, were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast was home made and delicious. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need to be comfortable including a mini fridge, tv, a kettle and heater for winter. The owners provided me with helpful tips to move around in touristic places and also in Srinagar. They were a blessing on my solo trip.
