We had an amazing stay at Thangkop House. We were warmly greeted by Dolma who is a wonderful host. She made us feel right at home and made sure we adjusted to the altitude. We loved Thangkop so much that we spent a few nights initially but then came back multiple times between trips to other places. The rooms are lovely and sunny. We had yummy breakfasts with homemade local bread. Wang (Dolmas son) helped us organise a scooter trip arranging for the bike to be dropped to the house for a very reasonable price and also helped us organise a trip to the Sham Valley Trek. I couldn’t recommend highly enough and if you are visiting Leh you should stay here :)

Not many guests, as most people stay at their larger location across the street. I originally booked 3 nights online, but stayed again after I returned from a trek and they changed me the same excellent rate I got online.

Dejlig have hvor jeg kunne sidde og spise morgenmad og drikke eftermiddags chai med ingefær. Sødt og hjælpsomt værtspar. Jeg spiste aftensmad på stedet og det var skøn mad. Et af de bedste steder jeg har boet og som jeg i den grad kan anbefale til alle.

Heschek Guest House ligger i Leh og har gratis WiFi. Pensionatet har have og ligger tæt på flere seværdigheder, omkring 1,5 km fra Shanti Stupa og omkring 900 meter fra Main Bazaar. Gorgeous views. Simple but excellent food and ambience. Ginger tea was fantastic. Super friendly and helpful staff. We will be back!

This place is a family run business, Ilham, the owner and his mother, Mme Sweety, were so welcoming and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The breakfast was home made and delicious. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need to be comfortable including a mini fridge, tv, a kettle and heater for winter. The owners provided me with helpful tips to move around in touristic places and also in Srinagar. They were a blessing on my solo trip.

It was an extremely pleasant experience. Everything about the property was great and exceeded our expectations. The owner also guided us when and where to visit which was a great help. The mutton Rogan josh which he specially prepared for us was just amazing and the way it was served to us almost felt like we were home. Thank you so much for this wonderful experience.
