Alun Alun Kidul and Malioboro shopping street are a 30-minute drive from Ada Waktu Villa, while Kaliurang is 30 km from the property. Adisucipto Airport is 10 km away. We were very pleased and happy to stay here! Felt very blessed to find Adu Waktu, especially because of the staff and very personal attention and help for planning excursions! The guided driving by Willy and Ari and the all day visits to the various temples and to the tea plantation and Yogyakarta city market center area were the highlights! The breakfast was yummy with lots of fruit and teas and coffees and omelets and green pancakes! We are dinner there every night and it was traditional and delicious! The pool and courtyard is absolutely gorgeous and very much an oasis in the busy metropolitan outskirts! We both will miss it and especially Willy and Ari!

Try her Indonesian breakfast instead of the Western food options. Or ask her for a good and healthy vegetables soup if you have some problems with your stomach. As I did. If I ever will return to Java I will stay again at Wibowo's and Heni's place. I had a wonderful time with you. Thank you.

The property is around 8.2 km from Yogyakarta Presidential Palace, 8.4 km from Fort Vredeburg and 9.1 km from Malioboro Mall. The property is non-smoking and is located 7.8 km from Sultan's Palace. Andy and his family wlecomed us not just as guests but as part of their group of friends. They are all musicians and artists, so you get immediatly included in the best circle of people in Yogyakarta. Besides, their suggestions for what to do and see were always spot on. The village where the property is located is famous for its craftsmen, especially potters and basket makers, and there are plenty of wonderful places to see around. The place is a 15 min ride to the city on motorbike (very easy to get a Grab or Gojek for a couple of euros). The houses Andy built are beautiful and confortable, made with old carved wood pieces repurposed from other buildings. If you are interested in a off-turistic experience, I highly recommend staying here.
