Snooze in Yogyakarta provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a terrace and a shared lounge. It was a great stay! Staff were very nice to me and very friendly. The room was excellent with AC , excellent bed and it was very clean. The bathrooms were excellent too, there was enough place to take a good shower after a long hot day in the temples. The breakfast was very tasty with lots of fruits and juice. I wish I had spent more time here I really liked it! Definitely the place exceeded my expectations, will recommend it very much to anyone visiting Jogja :)

Quiet and relaxing environment. Complete facilities. Good location . Near to restaurants, cafes and mini grocery stores. Titik nol is about 25 minutes walk. Such a lovely host. I was served local food in the morning while I was sitting at the kitchenette having my usual breakfast I've bought myself prior to arriving (muesli, yoghurt and banana) and coffee (provided by the host). She gave me little snackettes for several days..bananas..fritters..currypuff..nasi Gudek.. Although, breakfast is not included in the booking. Im soo grateful. Thank you for being a superb host!

They serve coffee, snacks and fresh fruit in common area which is very nice! Close to local restaurants!

Situated in Yogyakarta with Sultan's Palace and Museum Sonobudoyo nearby, "NOMORE" Gallery and Guesthouse features accommodation with free private parking. The place is tucked away in a small neighborhood, which is quite charming. Guests should be aware, though, that cars can't enter the area, so a short walk with your luggage is necessary to reach the place. The breakfast was also delicious and they even packed it to go!

Featuring an outdoor swimming pool and views of mountain, Blue Garden Yogyakarta is a recently renovated guest house located in Yogyakarta, 11 km from Museum Sonobudoyo. It is out in a rural area well outside the city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Room was super clean and air conditioned with a large bathroom ( no a/c) and mini bar. ( Beer and cokes only) It has a small but good restaurant ( reserve meals in advance) and a lovely garden and pool. Looks out on rice fields with birds and nature all around. It is close.to a mosque and you can definitely hear the call to prayer. It added to the atmosphere for us and they turn down the loudspeaker for the 4am call to prayer!. You can borrow the bikes and ride through the working rice fields leased from the sultan. You certainly get to see authentic rural Javanese life but its not for those who want any kind of nightlife! Beer available but no wine, so bring your own if you want to relax over a glass while getting your authenticity!

Set in Pleret, 11 km from Yogyakarta, Ada Waktu Villa features a restaurant and free WiFi throughout the property. Free private parking is available on site. Everything was excellent. We stayed 2 nights in a family room because it was the only room left and it was huge, very clean, with a balcony overlooking rice fields. Shower and AC worked perfectly. Breakfast was simple but delicious (fruit juice, fresh fruit, cheese/egg & tomato toastie, tea). Filtered water was available to refill bottles. The owner and his Belgian friend helped us book tickets online for Borobodur & Prambanam, and also secured a driver. We were able to visit Prambanam before lunch, Borobodur after lunch, and also the two smaller Buddhist temples Pawon and Mendut. The hotel owner also booked a car to take us to the airport. We cannot recommend this hotel enough, superb service, including getting up early to give us breakfast. Would definitely stay again and stay for longer, this would be a nice place to unwind by the pool.

ViaVia Guesthouse is located in the Mergangsan district of Yogyakarta, 2.7 km from Museum Sonobudoyo, 2.7 km from Fort Vredeburg and 3.8 km from Yogyakarta Presidential Palace. Lovely staff, cozy, and clean! The swimming pool is a nice addition. We loved our stay in Yogya, and booked an extra night as a result. Staff went out of their way to help us. Even fixed a tour for us at 10PM, when the tour started at 8AM next morning. Absolutely great service all around.

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of garden, Omah Guyub 2 is situated in Jarakan, 7.4 km from Museum Sonobudoyo. Andy and his family wlecomed us not just as guests but as part of their group of friends. They are all musicians and artists, so you get immediatly included in the best circle of people in Yogyakarta. Besides, their suggestions for what to do and see were always spot on. The village where the property is located is famous for its craftsmen, especially potters and basket makers, and there are plenty of wonderful places to see around. The place is a 15 min ride to the city on motorbike (very easy to get a Grab or Gojek for a couple of euros). The houses Andy built are beautiful and confortable, made with old carved wood pieces repurposed from other buildings. If you are interested in a off-turistic experience, I highly recommend staying here.
