Personalet, stemningen, de andre gæster - det føltes som at “komme hjem”. Vi havde tre overnatninger her, og vi endte med at bruge meget tid på at være “hjemme”, fordi der var så dejligt at være. Bedste hostel vi nogensinde har besøgt :-)

It‘s a mix of javanese and dutch colonial style house. Very kind and helpful staff. They recommended a hiking tour to mount Merbabu, which was very nice! Location is a quite place.

Friendly and considerate staff. Maria made all arrangements for our day tours, gave us tips and recommendations for eating out and places to see, and she and her team made our stay a pleasant one. Special thanks to Maria, Diyana, Rizal and Brahm for that.

Det 1-stjernede "NOMORE" Gallery and Guesthouse ligger i Yogyakarta, 500 m fra Sultanens Palads og mindre end 1 km fra Museum Sonobudoyo. They only have 2 rooms for rent, but you can see the love, care and attention to details in each room. The mattress is on the floor but still comfy. The room is really well equipped with near-bed socket, shampoo, shower, towel, iron and hairdryer. Some comments mentioned the noise from a nearby mosque and neighbor's chickens, but it wasn't that loud, I slept like a baby without earplugs. The hosts are super friendly and helpful. They even prepared a breakfast box for me despite the fact that I left at 4am.

Blue Garden Yogyakarta er et nyrenoveret pensionat i Yogyakarta, 11 km fra Museum Sonobudoyo. Der er udendørs swimmingpool og bjergudsigt. The place was really beautiful. All the staff is very nice and was very attentive, they propose a lot of services that will make easy all your trip in Yogyakarta and the area. The food in the restaurant was also very good. Hardly recommended.

We were very pleased and happy to stay here! Felt very blessed to find Adu Waktu, especially because of the staff and very personal attention and help for planning excursions! The guided driving by Willy and Ari and the all day visits to the various temples and to the tea plantation and Yogyakarta city market center area were the highlights! The breakfast was yummy with lots of fruit and teas and coffees and omelets and green pancakes! We are dinner there every night and it was traditional and delicious! The pool and courtyard is absolutely gorgeous and very much an oasis in the busy metropolitan outskirts! We both will miss it and especially Willy and Ari!

Wibobo and Heni are very attentive hosts, always trying to make their guests feel home and comfortable. He has a profound knowledge of Yogia, the temples and all other sites of interest (ie. restaurants, batik shops etc.) He can give valuable information and recommendations for your tours. Besides that he is an excellent driver and ready to take you wherever you want at a reasonable price. Heni cares for the homestay and has an important part for the guests wellbeing. Try her Indonesian breakfast instead of the Western food options. Or ask her for a good and healthy vegetables soup if you have some problems with your stomach. As I did. If I ever will return to Java I will stay again at Wibowo's and Heni's place. I had a wonderful time with you. Thank you.

Boasting a garden, terrace and views of garden, Omah Guyub 2 is situated in Jarakan, 7.4 km from Museum Sonobudoyo. Andy and his family wlecomed us not just as guests but as part of their group of friends. They are all musicians and artists, so you get immediatly included in the best circle of people in Yogyakarta. Besides, their suggestions for what to do and see were always spot on. The village where the property is located is famous for its craftsmen, especially potters and basket makers, and there are plenty of wonderful places to see around. The place is a 15 min ride to the city on motorbike (very easy to get a Grab or Gojek for a couple of euros). The houses Andy built are beautiful and confortable, made with old carved wood pieces repurposed from other buildings. If you are interested in a off-turistic experience, I highly recommend staying here.
