This homestay is one of the cleanest I have stayed at in my two month trip to Indonesia. The atmosphere is very relaxing, the place looks new and well cared for. The wifi was working perfectly, just like the AC. The room smelled good. It is also very quiet, so I slept like a baby. I stayed in the twin room.. But most of all, the owners, Annie indah and her husband Johannes are the most caring, helpful and friendly people ever! They took good care of me since the moment I arrived by giving me all sort of advice and even helped me book the train ticket! They even invited me for a tea with freshly baked cake. And the breakfast is delicious, a full meal. Annie Indah is a great cook. I really felt at home! If you are in Banyuwangi don't miss the opportunity to stay at this place!

The family who run the place are lovely. So thoughtful and generous. We booked multiple excursions through them and they went above and beyond to make us comfortable. (They lent us water shoes for Tumpak Sewu and even threw some cushions in the car for our long drive) Breakfast was made after our Sunrise at Mt Bromo despite us being a few hours late for breakfast. If you’re in Malang, stay here!!!

Mi Casa - The gem of Ijen se encuentra en Banyuwangi, a 31 km de Watu Dodol, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Wow. Everything was truly magical. The name is correct— it IS a gem!!! The moment we arrived Erika warmly greeted us with a fresh dragon fruit juice. The room is SO luxurious, the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, ever. The gardens are lush, the river is clean and the area is so spiritual and relaxing. We spent so much time at the pool swimming, reading, meditating. The owners are so lovely. Marc taught us many things about Java and about life. We appreciated his conversations. Happy to call them friends. Special shout out to young Rico!!! The chef of the house!! Amazing home cooked meals, the best we’ve had in our trip through Indonesia. Thank you Rico you smashed it and you have a great future ahead.

El bamboo guesthouse, que cuenta con bicicletas gratis, jardín, terraza y restaurante, se encuentra en el barrio de Licin, en Jambu, a solo 34 km de Watu Dodol. Es muy chulo y las casitas son muy bonitas y acogedoras. Nos ha encantado TODO, la cama super cómoda, el baño es innovador, el sitio es muy chulo. Los dueños son muy malos y preparan comida muy buena. Ellos nos ayudaron con todo lo que necesitábamos saber con el volcan de ijen. Cerca de bamboo hay varios sitios para ver, están muy chulos.

JALA GUEST HOUSE near JUANDA AIRPORT está en Sawotratap, a 14 km de Monumento Bambu Runcing y a 14 km de Monumen Kapal Selam Surabaya. El dueño es increíblemente amable. Nos llevó al aeropuerto de madrugada con un precio mejor que el grab. Nos cocinó un arroz delicioso de cena y tuvimos una charla muy interesante con él. Buen lugar para si tienes que coger avión temprano o alguna escala.

Ni_Er Guesthouse by Mr.Tsabalala se encuentra en Panjunan, a 30 km de Parque Nacional Bromo Tengger Semeru y a 32 km de Mount Lamongan. Nice, clean and comfy room. Staff was super nice and they helped me organize a great tour to Tumpak Sewu! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a good place in Lumajang!

Mountain Ecolodge se encuentra en Gubukklakah, a 23 km de Velodrome Malang y a 24 km de Bentoel Museum. Mary is the perfect host and made us feel right at home. The room is very nice and new and has an amazing view. Mary and he husband did everything they could to make it a great trip and I would highly recommend!

Watukarung Ristu Homestay se encuentra en Kalak, a 3 min a pie de Playa Watu Karung y a 1,7 km de Playa Kasap, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, salón de uso común y terraza. I love this place. the beach is amazing. the homestay small and quiet. everything I was hoping for. we even solved the language issue with a lot of smiles.
