Maison Manendra - Bromo is located in Gubukklakah, 22 km from Mount Bromo, 25 km from Velodrome Malang, and 26 km from Bentoel Museum. The location is amazing, great views from the rooftop and very close access to the Mount bromo and Sea of sand. The daily dinner was really good and the host created a good atmosphere with all the other guests. Furthermore he advised me on a really cool (and challenging) route to drive to Mt Bromo by motorbike giving me a very unique experience.

Took about 5-8 minutes drive from station itself and easy way to go Ketapang area. Take a local uber to take you to Ketapang harbour if you would like to cross by ferry ship to Bali. Clean and neat place, comfort room and absolutely friendly owner, you will find a new local's life experience there. Located within 31 km of Watu Dodol in Banyuwangi, Mi Casa - The gem of Ijen features accommodation with seating area. The room was very big and lovely furnished. You have a big and wonderful pool with places with and without shade. The meals were delicious and the owner helpful all time long.

El bamboo guesthouse is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Jambu, where guests can make the most of its free bikes and garden. Friendly family, beautiful environment, various food choices, clean and good facilities. We have been here a week and will certainly come back. Since we were so impressed by all the bamboo, the owner showed us how to weave bamboo and make kipas.. super nice! Long term stay recommended..

JALA GUEST HOUSE near JUANDA AIRPORT, a property with a terrace, is situated in Sawotratap, 14 km from Sharp Bamboo Monument, 14 km from Submarine Monument, as well as 14 km from Gubeng Train Station.... I had a great time staying here for a few days. Herry is an absolute great, friendly and welcoming host! He offered pickup with his car from the airport (which is not too far). I had some issues with my stomach and he helped me buy medicine, his wife even cooked great soup for me to help me get better soon. The rooms are decent and good for the price. If you want to stay a few days in Surabaya and want to have a local experience, go here.

I love this place. the beach is amazing. the homestay small and quiet. everything I was hoping for. we even solved the language issue with a lot of smiles.
