Set within 1.6 km of Borobudur Temple and 40 km of Yogyakarta Tugu Train Station in Borobudur, Bhumi Kasuryan Borobudur provides accommodation with seating area. One of the best places we have stayed during our two-month tour of Indonesia. Our room is facing the rice fields and we could see the sun rise from the bed. The host and the staff are really friendly and we feel very much at home.

Located in Karimunjawa, L'isola che... Provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a bar and a shared lounge. Guests at the bed and breakfast can enjoy a continental breakfast. The laidback atmosphere and the staff were amazing. The rooms are simple but clean and perfectly match the spirit of Karimunjawa, where you can relax and live the day at your own pace. The staff was superfriendly and also helped us finding a convenient ride to our next destination. The snorkeling tour is beautiful so make sure not to miss it. Breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared everytime as soon as the staff noticed we were awake. If all the above was not enough, they have two lovely puppies who made sure to let us know we were home everytime we arrived back to the hostel.

Floating Paradise is a secluded accommodation in the east of Karimunjawa, and is the only solar-powered accommodation on the island. It truly was a floating Paradise! We loved every single minute of it. Nothing around you, cannot get more relaxing, crystal clear water, fish & coral reef as part of your view. The sound of the water under your feet … it was my husband’s birthday and I wanted something special for him, this was an amazing experience for both. Extremely clean, Bathroom was beautiful and comfortable! The host went far and beyond to help us short notice on the return ticket for the ferry, we will be always thankful for that 🙏.

Janur Bungalow offers an accommodation in Borobudur, set in a village surrounded by rice fields. It boasts an outdoor pool with overflow circulation system. The host is incredibly nice, and gave us a lot of useful information about the area, and also some some in site in to the local customs. The floating breakfast and the breakfast in general is amazing. I highly recommend this stay while visiting borobudur.

Featuring mountain views, Amata Borobudur Resort features accommodation with balcony, around 5.1 km from Borobudur Temple. Lovely boutique type resort with all modern amenities. Loved the cottage I was in. Big and spacious. This was the at the end of the property. Away from the pool. Lovely to sit on the veranda and read. There is an homely atmosphere everywhere. Staff are very helpful. Food was excellent for me. I like Indonesian / Javanese food so was quite happy to have what was on the menu. They even went out of the way to prepare a local dish specially for me called "nasi liwet".

Featuring mountain views, 44 Guest House Syariah provides accommodation with balcony, around 21 km from Owabong. The property features city views and is 42 km from Mount Slamet. The room very clean, the owner very helpful. The rooms in the second floor, the first floor is the restaurant. You have to try the food in this restaurant, its very good. The best guest house in the town. Very recomended.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, Nia Maretta House Syariah is located in Magelang. In 10 days of traveling around Java I had not stayed in a place that was so nice to be inside. The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably

Located in Karimunjawa in the Central Java region, with Nirwana Beach and Pancuran Beach nearby, Loyal friend hostel karimunjawa provides accommodation with free private parking. We LOVED our stay at the Loyal Friend Hostel. The hostel is cosy, there's plenty of space to chill and having breakfast in the morning on the terrace is just perfect. The room is clean, the bed is good and there's fresh mountain water coming out of the shower. Jahe, the hostel manager, is amazing and will help you with anything like renting scooters, booking snorkel tours or transport. We stayed 1 week in the hostel, but we could easily spend months here! Location is perfect: close to the harbour and main road with loads of places to have local or western food or coffee. We highly recommend staying at the Loyal Friend Hostel!!
