Desde antes de llegar a L'isola che sabía que había elegido el mejor sitio para quedarme en Karimunjawa. Silvia me estuvo ayudando en todo lo que iba necesitando antes de la fecha de entrada. Pero es que en el instante que puse un pie aquí ya supe que no iba a querer marcharme. Oni me dio una bienvenida espectacular que hizo sentirme en casa desde el principio. La habitación compartida tiene 3 literas y dos baños con ducha dentro de la habitación. También tiene lockers para guardar tus pertenencias. Esta limpio, las camas son cómodas y facilitan toalla. Ofrecen todo tipo de actividades y los desayunos están riquísimos. John y su familia también son adorables. Gracias familia.

Lovely boutique type resort with all modern amenities. Loved the cottage I was in. Big and spacious. This was the at the end of the property. Away from the pool. Lovely to sit on the veranda and read. There is an homely atmosphere everywhere. Staff are very helpful. Food was excellent for me. I like Indonesian / Javanese food so was quite happy to have what was on the menu. They even went out of the way to prepare a local dish specially for me called "nasi liwet".

44 Guest House Syariah se encuentra en Purwokerto, a 21 km de Owabong y a 42 km de Mount Slamet. Guesthouse 44 was my second home for a week in Purwokerto. The room was not spacious, but it had all necessary appliances and good air conditioning. A double room was just enough for my luggage, so I suggest if you travel with a partner, get a bigger room, the price is really affordable. The bathroom might surprise you, because it has no sink, just a shower, and no mirror, which is somewhat inconvenient. The room was sparkling clean, the bed sheets and the towels smelled amazing, it was regularly cleaned and supplied with bottled water every day. As a foreigner, you might get some special treatment, as the managers are really caring and put in a lot of effort to be of best service. The breakfast is abundant, if you don't like the local style, they'll prepare you some pancakes, omelette and steamed vegetables, so as to make sure you don't go out hungry. It is a good idea to bring some small present for the lady and her husband who run the hotel (they are about 60) - it will make their day. At their place you will surely feel as a part of a big family. Please bear in mind, that although the hotel is near the city center, you cannot walk in Purwokerto, since the streets are bustling with cars and motorcycles and there are no sidewalks for pedestrians. Walking is really dangerous, so better take a taxi. And speaking of taxies, I can recommend this nice young taxi driver in Jakarta, working for the Bluebird company, who speaks perfect English and is a very honest and helpful person: +62 852-1258-2235 (Willy). You may contact him on WhatsApp in advance, and he'll pick you up at the airport, without an extra fee. I had to bargain with many taxi drivers when I arrived in Jakarta in order to get an almost fair price, while this one trusts his meter, so no need to worry. Good luck with your adventure!

NDalem Kartowikoro 1835 se encuentra en Solo, a 1,7 km de Museo Radya Pustaka y a 3,4 km de The Park Solo. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, beautiful setting in a traditional guesthouse, convenient location for seeing the sights, comfortable bed, quiet at night, and great breakfast. Highly recommended!

Omah kayu jagalan está en Magelang, a 14 min a pie de Templo Borobudur y a 39 km de Estación de tren de Yogyakarta Tugu. Quiet but central wooden huts. Breakfast (we were the only guests but got a very good cappuchino and traditional Indonesian rice free breakfast. Very helpful were free bicycles to the Borobodur temple area entrance which is now no longer a short walking distance, but has been recently moved a 20-30 walk away. Important about Borobodur under the new regime: Make sure you book online ahead of time the „structural tour“ with roof access. Without it you will likely be disappointed.

Nia Maretta House Syariah se encuentra en Magelang, a 3,9 km de Templo Borobudur, y ofrece habitaciones con aire acondicionado y jardín. In 10 days of traveling around Java I had not stayed in a place that was so nice to be inside. The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably
