Set within 1.6 km of Borobudur Temple and 40 km of Yogyakarta Tugu Train Station in Borobudur, Bhumi Kasuryan Borobudur provides accommodation with seating area. My stay has been short but beyond perfect. They also sell cheap dinners, which is a must try. If available, try to get the room(or whatever this small building is called) with a ‘mountain view’. Can see a lot of stars in the night and breathe fresh air. Staff has been very nice and helpful. Breakfasts are wonderful.

El personal va ser molt amable en tot moment, em van explicar cap a on podia anar i què podia fer durant la meva estada a l'illa. També em van reservar els bitllets pel ferri. L'esmorzar estava molt bé i l'ambient del lloc va ser molt agradable.

Les instal·lacions estan molt bé, el jardí és molt bonic, està molt cuidat i net. Els esmorzars són espectaculars, amb molt bona presentació i molt bo! La noia ho prepara amb molt de carinyo i passió! Les habitacions són maques i el llit és còmode. Tenen antimosquits, llanterna, et deixen entrar menjar de fora perquè no tenen cuina, i pots demanar que t’ho portin i sopar a les instal·lacions còmodament. A 5 minuts en cotxe de Borobudur, i molt econòmic.

Loved the cottage I was in. Big and spacious. This was the at the end of the property. Away from the pool. Lovely to sit on the veranda and read. There is an homely atmosphere everywhere. Staff are very helpful. Food was excellent for me. I like Indonesian / Javanese food so was quite happy to have what was on the menu. They even went out of the way to prepare a local dish specially for me called "nasi liwet".

The room very clean, the owner very helpful. The rooms in the second floor, the first floor is the restaurant. You have to try the food in this restaurant, its very good. The best guest house in the town. Very recomended.

Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, beautiful setting in a traditional guesthouse, convenient location for seeing the sights, comfortable bed, quiet at night, and great breakfast. Highly recommended!

Situated within 1.2 km of Borobudur Temple and 39 km of Yogyakarta Tugu Train Station in Magelang, omah kayu jagalan offers accommodation with seating area. Quiet but central wooden huts. Breakfast (we were the only guests but got a very good cappuchino and traditional Indonesian rice free breakfast. Very helpful were free bicycles to the Borobodur temple area entrance which is now no longer a short walking distance, but has been recently moved a 20-30 walk away. Important about Borobodur under the new regime: Make sure you book online ahead of time the „structural tour“ with roof access. Without it you will likely be disappointed.

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace, Nia Maretta House Syariah is located in Magelang. In 10 days of traveling around Java I had not stayed in a place that was so nice to be inside. The room was terrifically clean, the size ample, the air conditioner worked well, there was hot water, and a nice porch out front. My only suggestion would be to place a wall mounted electric fan on the front porch so that guests can be outside more comfortably
