Ühise puhkeruumiga majutusasutus Royal Oak Guesthouse asub Orkneys, 2,2 km kaugusel Scapa rannast, 17 km kaugusel Maeshowe'st ja 19 km kaugusel Stennessi püsivatest kividest. Excellent breakfast. I only had the fruit and Greek yogurt (and good coffee) but that was exactly what I wanted. The host was very helpful with our early leaving and storage of our bikes.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay with Laura and Brian immensely. There we cookies, pastries, tea and coffee really available upon arrival and throughout our entire stay. For the self catered breakfast, there were lots of hot/cold cereals, breads, pastries (gluten-free options), juices, yogurts, local cheeses, and all the fixings. Each morning, Laura had scones or some other baked good heating in the oven. Heating your own food for dinner or eating take out was an option, too, which we took advantage of one evening. Our room was very beautiful, modern, and cozy with a very comfortable bed. The whole place was spotless. Laura suggested restaurants and places of interest off the beaten path. She was a gracious, thoughtful, wonderful host - some of the best hospitality on our month long trip! Thanks for everything, Laura. We loved our stay with you. Highly recommend.

Eraranna ja merevaatega Waterfront House on külalistemaja, mis asub ajaloolises hoones Finstownis, 5,7 km kaugusel Maeshowe'st. The location, the room, the shower, the bath tub (with TV!)... there is nothing to complain about. I don't know, what else you could wish for. Though no breakfast is included, plenty of options are provided for you so you can make up a little breakfast for yourself.

Lindisfarne is run by a local family who created a warm and welcoming Bed & Breakfast for Orkney visitors. It’s conveniently located on a quiet road just outside of Stromness (in view of the ferry terminal and just 15 minutes from some of Orkney’s most exciting archeological sites). Our room was spacious, very clean, well laid out, and had a nice view of the neighboring farms. There was a shared sitting room to enjoy a cup of tea and plan our Orkney adventures. The breakfast was fantastic!

The breakfasts are fresh and cooked to order, along with a wide selection of cereals and juices. Our room was spotless and roomy, with a big closet for hanging up rain-dampened clothes. It’s a 20-minute walk to the centre of Kirkwall, or a 6£ cab ride if you’re coming back from the pubs. There is ample parking on the property.

Grainbank Mews asub Kirkwallis, 16 km kaugusel Stennessi püsivatest kividest, 18 km kaugusel Ring of Brogdarist ja 17 km kaugusel Ness of Brogdarist. Thank you to Albert and Aileen for a wonderful stay at Grainbank Mews. The room was beautiful and sparkling clean, with a delicious breakfast prepared for us each morning. Great location, just outside Kirkwall and a couple minutes' drive to all the shops and restaurants. We were really curious about life on Orkney, and Albert was very kind and informative, even pointing us in the direction of the 'Orkney Dictionary' (which I bought!) This place is a treasure and we would love to stay again the next time we are in town.
