Very accommodating hosts in a beautiful location midway between Interlaken and Lucern. Absolutely stunning views. Rooms were spacious and very clean. One room was beautifully remodeled, the other two were older but still very nice. The historic guesthouse is family owned and run and the love this family has for their guests is very evident. We had a travel delay that kept us from arriving while the restaurant was still serving dinner, but the hosts offered to make us cold sandwiches to have when we arrived. When we arrived, they had the sandwiches ready and offered a few other options (salad, appetizers), which was greatly appreciated!

Free bottle of water too. Bathroom insanely big and great :-) there's a little tarrace to enjoy the view.

Berggasthaus Tannalp ligger 1 976 meters höjd över havet, 1 till 2 timmars promenad från Melchsee-Frutt, omgivet av natur och berg. Sjön Tannensee ligger 600 meter bort. The location high in the mountains and far away from busy tourist stops was to its advantage. The endless views across the alpine area was extraordinary. The dinner and breakfast in cute eating area well served with friendly precision was memorable. Very clean and typically Swiss Mtn decor perfect for our family trek on Via Alpina trail.

Hotel Bahnhof ligger mitt emot tågstationen i den fridfulla staden Giswil, bara 20 minuters promenad från sjön Sarnersee. Hotellet har en restaurang och en stor trädgård. Situated right across the Giswil train station and accessible to every point around, this hotel with its great location offers spacious rooms, a very comfortable bed, great modern amenities and a perfect ambience in a century old, but very well maintained building. Everything is so well thought of that one wonders what can go wrong... Except breakfast.
