A good location for a relaxing getaway in Sachseln, Verena's Boutique Villa au lac is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain. Great location and view, great breakfast, very friendly and accomodating. Planning on returning for another ski weekend soon.

Enjoying an idyllic location between the mountains and the Sarnersee lake, the family-run Landgasthof Grossteil offers fine Swiss cuisine, free Wi-Fi and simply furnished rooms. Very accommodating hosts in a beautiful location midway between Interlaken and Lucern. Absolutely stunning views. Rooms were spacious and very clean. One room was beautifully remodeled, the other two were older but still very nice. The historic guesthouse is family owned and run and the love this family has for their guests is very evident. We had a travel delay that kept us from arriving while the restaurant was still serving dinner, but the hosts offered to make us cold sandwiches to have when we arrived. When we arrived, they had the sandwiches ready and offered a few other options (salad, appetizers), which was greatly appreciated!

Its soooo cute. Minimalist, aesthetic, so clean and quite. And thanks for the swiss joke i read that and it was hilarious.

Berggasthaus Tannalp is located at 1,976 metres above sea level, 1 to 2 walking hour away from Melchsee-Frutt, surrounded by nature and mountains. The Tannensee lake is 600 metres away. The location high in the mountains and far away from busy tourist stops was to its advantage. The endless views across the alpine area was extraordinary. The dinner and breakfast in cute eating area well served with friendly precision was memorable. Very clean and typically Swiss Mtn decor perfect for our family trek on Via Alpina trail.

Located opposite the train station in the peaceful town of Giswil, Hotel Bahnhof is just a 20-minute walk from Lake Sarnen. It features a restaurant and a large garden. Breakfast was good, lots to choose. The location has ups and downs. Although it is located near popular locations, you need a car to drive around. On the other hand its really quiet there. The balcony view is all nature.

The Gasthaus Paxmontana is centrally located in Flüeli-Ranft and offers panoramic views over the Sarner Lake, the Oberwald mountains and the Melch valley. really lovely staff and breakfast. and clean rooms!!
