The dinner and breakfast in cute eating area well served with friendly precision was memorable. Very clean and typically Swiss Mtn decor perfect for our family trek on Via Alpina trail.

The Gasthaus Paxmontana is centrally located in Flüeli-Ranft and offers panoramic views over the Sarner Lake, the Oberwald mountains and the Melch valley. Beautiful hotel in a perfect location. Highly recommended. Do not hesitate staying here. Be aware this hotel is not situated in the main hotel (the prices are higher there) and in the guest house instead, which is a short walk from this hotel. You have to walk across a bridge like structure, to access the main building, for buffet breakfast/restaurant/facilities. The buffet breakfast was incredible. Very friendly staff.
