A good location for a relaxing getaway in Sachseln, Verena's Boutique Villa au lac is a bed and breakfast surrounded by views of the mountain. The property features a garden, shared lounge and parking on-site among other facilities. The property has lake and garden views, and is 23 km from Lucerne Station. There is private parking and the property offers an electric vehicle charging station. Location-right opposite the lake with excellent views of the lake from our bed room window .Theatre room so we could connect to Netflix if we wanted .Supply of wines beers and snacks if we wanted -Hostess was really friendly and was more than happy to see to out every need .Couldn’t have asked for more .And it’s right opposite the station.
Alpnach

Featuring a bath or shower, private bathroom also comes with free toiletries. You can enjoy mountain view from the room. Extras include a desk and bed linen. Breakfast had a huge variety, staff were extremely helpful and patient, hotel rooms were clean and spacious.

Alpnachstad
Budget rooms Pilatus - Alpnachstad, a property with a shared lounge, is set in Alpnachstad, 15 km from Lion Monument, 16 km from KKL Culture and Convention Centre Lucerne, as well as 16 km from Chapel Bridge. It is situated 14 km from Lucerne Station and features luggage storage space. There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi and free private parking. Good location. The room was spacious, very clean and well equipped. Parking space available next to the building, which was important to us. We had good contact with the host. Highly recommended

Frutt
Featuring a shared lounge, Berggasthaus Tannalp is located in Frutt in the Obwalden region, 35 km from Giessbachfälle and 31 km from Freilichtmuseum Ballenberg. The accommodation offers ski storage space, as well as a garden and barbecue facilities. The guest house provides mountain views, a sun terrace, and free WiFi is available. The location high in the mountains and far away from busy tourist stops was to its advantage. The endless views across the alpine area was extraordinary. The dinner and breakfast in cute eating area well served with friendly precision was memorable. Very clean and typically Swiss Mtn decor perfect for our family trek on Via Alpina trail.
Giswil
Located opposite the train station in the peaceful town of Giswil, Hotel Bahnhof is just a 20-minute walk from Lake Sarnen. It features a restaurant and a large garden.
All of the simply furnished rooms at Hotel Bahnhof offer picturesque views over the surrounding countryside.
Breakfast was good, lots to choose. The location has ups and downs. Although it is located near popular locations, you need a car to drive around. On the other hand its really quiet there. The balcony view is all nature.
Sachseln
The Gasthaus Paxmontana is centrally located in Flüeli-Ranft and offers panoramic views over the Sarner Lake, the Oberwald mountains and the Melch valley.
Delicious specialities from Switzerland and the Obwalden region can be enjoyed in the restaurant. Breakfast is served daily in the sister hotel, which is 150 metres away.
We stayed in a triple room in the Paxmontana Gasthaus although breakfast and welcome drink were offered in the main hotel. The location is wonderful. We were so happy we booked that hotel in this peaceful location surrounded by this beautiful greenery and walking paths. The staff is very efficient and kind.

Beautiful location in charming Swiss village, close to church with lovely bells. Very quiet (the bells stop at night), and spotlessly clean. A spacious yet very cozy upper floor in a traditional Swiss wood frame building. Comfortable beds as well.
Great location, close to the train stop and the Pilatus-Bahn, and very quiet. The apartment is spacious and clean. We spent two weeks there and loved it.
Very clean and comfortable room and an excellent breakfast. Great location opposite the train station, so perfect for public transport users and needing to get a train the next day. Located in a lovely area for hiking. Staff running the breakfast cafe were very friendly and great breakfast choices. The self check in worked well but of course you don't get to see anyone from the BnB at this point, that comes with breakfast. I would be very happy to stay again.
boutique bed and breakfast guesthouse. despite sharing toilet it very clean and felt like home away from home. Patrick and wife gave us a warm welcome despite late check in. we have good breakfast , not fancy but very good to cut to saving in this expensive country. host and staff and friendly. house is warmly decorated despite need to do some climbing. a restaurant that serve tasty meals. very cheap rental.
Great location as walking distance from the station but in a quiet area. Staff very friendly & helpful with lots of little personalised touches. Breakfast was great including a variety of local produce (the two local honey’s were amazing)
We're absolutely happy with our room, convenient location (with private parking for car and next to a train station), very clean and quiet, newly renovated. 10/10. We'd stay again if we came back to the region.
