Featuring a garden and views of garden, Casa La Aventura Guasacate - Popoyo is a recently renovated apartment situated in Popoyo, a few steps from Popoyo Beach. Everything was just right 👍. All the details you could think of just nicely organised. And the 2 owners so helpful. This I a lovly place to chill and meet other travellers. One of the best places we have stayed in Nicaragua 🤟

Featuring a garden and views of garden, El Bamboo Cabins is set in Balgue, 12 km from Maderas Volcano. This beachfront property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi. This was a unique experience open to the elements - be prepared for the sound of waves crashing, wind, insects etc protected well at night by the mosquito net over the bed. Che is very helpful and nothing is a problem. Highly recommend it provided you are prepared for what is on offer.

Boasting air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Arcia is situated in Rivas. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and Christ of the Mercy Nicaragua is 31 km away. Arturo and his family went above and beyond to ensure I had a perfect stay. I can’t thank them enough. Arturo was so incredibly welcoming and helped me arrange a taxi to the border after my shuttle was cancelled last minute, and did absolutely everything to help me with whatever I needed. The best hospitality I’ve ever experienced through booking.com. Do not hesitate to book this absolute gem of a place. 11/10

Situated in Balgue and only 11 km from Maderas Volcano, Cabaña el ojoche features accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden and quiet street views.... While the accommodation is simple, it covers all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The highlight was definitely Junior, our host. He’s warm, speaks great English, and is an excellent guide for hiking to the volcanoes. His local knowledge and friendly personality really made the experience memorable.

Set in Tola and only 300 metres from Playa Colorado, Casa Mariposa offers accommodation with quiet street views, free WiFi and free private parking. We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Casa Mariposa. Lovely, modern, clean, self-contained with a well-stocked functioning kitchen. Felt like an AirBnB back home. Great location close to the surf, short 10min walk on the flat to Colorado's and 10mins to the shop in the other direction. Fully equipped for surfers with board storage area and outdoor shower. Eddie who lives there was so friendly and helpful - even gave us some of his homegrown bananas! Cannot recommend this place enough, one of our most enjoyable stays in Nicaragua

Located in Rivas and only 33 km from Christ of the Mercy Nicaragua, Havana provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features lake and city views. The host named Melissa spoke English and was very accommodating even drove me to town a couple of times when I first arrives. There is a convenience store across the road to get fresh water and other drinks.

Located in San Juan del Sur and only 400 metres from San Juan del Sur Beach, 2 bedroom house with bayview, 3 blocks from beach and center of SJ provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and... Communication was very good and easy from the start with Jan-Luc, the owner, via messages. He gave lots of information about the address and indications on how to find it, Internet password, WhatsApp number and other necessary details. He was also very nice to accept moving our dates by one day since our plans changed. The cabina Lobovista where we stayed is absolutely gorgeous, well decorated in a rustic style, on two levels. The rooms are big, as well as the bathrooms. It even has a desk space made from an old sewing machine where I could do some work. It has an open kitchen space that is very well equipped, and has lots of storage space overall. Loved the terraces, swinging chairs and hammock, where we chilled looking at the landscape. It's really close to the beach and restaurants, just a 5-10min walk. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially on a rainy day when we just wanted to rest and take in the landscape in such a comfy and cozy place.

Boasting an outdoor swimming pool and views of city, The Stone Elephant - A place to relax in town with Hot Water and a Pool is a recently renovated apartment situated in San Juan del Sur, 600 metres... It was in a great location. Close to the main center of town but away enough to be able to sleep at night when the parties are going. Very lovely and responsive host and the accommodations were fantastic. The bed was comfortable and the hot water was such a nice thing to have. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked. Being able to make coffee in the morning first thing instead of needing to find a cafe was an incredible bonus. A great home away from home. We felt very comfortable and at peace.
