The location is ideal, just a 4-minute walk from the private beach. The entire crew is friendly and welcoming, but it's the warm personality of owner 'Ravi' that captivated us from the personal welcome. I honestly cannot rate Castara Inn highly enough! I feel like this place is a real hidden gem. Rhonda could not have been nicer and made everything so easy and painless. Rhonda organised a lovely surprise birthday message on the bed with dried petals for my 40th and also upgraded our room to a Sea View option as it was vacant. And my what a view that was! Absolutely stunning. The outdoor space and facilities that came with the room were super impressive. Loved the apartment itself - very comfortable bed and what a bathroom! There is also a lovely path/ hike down to a secret little deserted beach from directly outside the property. This was a lovely start to our day one morning. If I was back in Castara, I would 100% stay in Castara Inn again as my first choice. I get that it is a bit further of a walk up a very steep hill! But we rented a car (through Taylor's rental) while in Castara, and this made getting around A LOT easier. I would go with the car and Castara Inn option over staying down the road in other more expensive places just down the hill.

Great location and value for money, given how expensive GCI is in general. The unit had all the necessary toiletries and kitchen supplies needed for a comfortable stay. Check in was quick and easy, as they send email with all the details needed on the morning of. Very responsive staff. They also have maid services which is a nice touch since most rental places don’t offer. The patio was the selling point for us to book this place and it didn’t disappoint! We experienced many beautiful sunsets and sunrises from it! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.
