There are plenty of restaurants literally steps away. The staff was very helpful and they gave restaurants recommendations.

Very comfortable, spacious apartment with all the amenities one could need, in an upscale (tourist) neighborhood. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Nice swimming pool, never crowded during the week we stayed there. Short walking distance to the beach, entry to the beach included. The beach itself is nice, the water is very clear and the gulf is calm and good for swimming. We haven’t snorkeled there but there were a lot of people snorkeling and diving. Comfortable drive to the beautiful beaches of the northwestern side without having to cross Willemstad.

(I moved to Fixie Lofts during my stay in Santo Domingo cause I didn’t like my first accommodation) The location couldn’t be better—in the center of the Colonial Zone. It was really clean, neat, cozy, and spacious. Check-in and check-out processes were really easy, and instructions were very clear. They have everything to cook in the kitchen. The bed was spacious and super comfortable. I would love to stay in Fixie Lofts again when I return to Santo Domingo!

The pool was a lovely fixture, allowing us to cool off whenever we needed to. The induction stovetop was great for cooking our own meals. Smart TV let us watch Netflix whenever we felt like we just wanted to relax. Great internet service. Everything in the unit felt of high quality, especially the doors & locks.

Situado a 200 metros da Praia de Castara e a 600 metros da Praia Little Bay, o Castara Inn oferece quartos com ar-condicionado e banheiro privativo em Castara. I honestly cannot rate Castara Inn highly enough! I feel like this place is a real hidden gem. Rhonda could not have been nicer and made everything so easy and painless. Rhonda organised a lovely surprise birthday message on the bed with dried petals for my 40th and also upgraded our room to a Sea View option as it was vacant. And my what a view that was! Absolutely stunning. The outdoor space and facilities that came with the room were super impressive. Loved the apartment itself - very comfortable bed and what a bathroom! There is also a lovely path/ hike down to a secret little deserted beach from directly outside the property. This was a lovely start to our day one morning. If I was back in Castara, I would 100% stay in Castara Inn again as my first choice. I get that it is a bit further of a walk up a very steep hill! But we rented a car (through Taylor's rental) while in Castara, and this made getting around A LOT easier. I would go with the car and Castara Inn option over staying down the road in other more expensive places just down the hill.

Great location and value for money, given how expensive GCI is in general. The unit had all the necessary toiletries and kitchen supplies needed for a comfortable stay. Check in was quick and easy, as they send email with all the details needed on the morning of. Very responsive staff. They also have maid services which is a nice touch since most rental places don’t offer. The patio was the selling point for us to book this place and it didn’t disappoint! We experienced many beautiful sunsets and sunrises from it! We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.
