Family-run house with a fairytale garden, wonderful fruit trees and vegetables in the middle of wonderful nature. Comfortable bed, hot water, functional with a cozy veranda, I felt very comfortable. A highlight were the fireflies at night. The bird watching in the morning was also very nice. It was great that tours to the elephant photo safari and Dambulla were organized for me upon request, and a tuktuk was always available, as Villa Chena is a bit far from the center. I would be happy to come again on my next stay in Sri Lanka.

Located just 3.5 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiri Rangana Guesthouse offers accommodation in Sigiriya with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as luggage storage space. It was by far the cleanest and more beautifully decorated room in our 10 day stay in the country.Very close to Sigiriya Rock and basically in the jungle,is located in a very beautiful environment. The sweet old lady with her daughter are very friendly and they made us feel like at home. Breakfast and dinner simple,but tasty.

Set 6.6 km from Pidurangala Rock, 1.4 km from Wildlife Range Office - Sigiriya and 2.7 km from Sigiriya Museum, Sigiri Siesta Homestay features accommodation situated in Sigiriya. Tremendous. Mahesh and his family were outstanding. They welcomed us into their home and made everything so easy for us. It was an authentic home stay experience and we loved every minute of it. They prepared a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, helped us to get to their accommodation and to leave. They organised a fantastic safari where we saw many elephants in the wild with a baby elephant of only a few days old. They arranged a great tuck-tuck pick up and drop off to visit and climb a local landmark. The drivers they arranged for us were thorough and showed us all of the best sites. Mahesh went above and beyond. He is a fantastic man with a fantastic family.

It’s quiet with a beautiful garden but located a short walk from a small village which has small shops and a few places to eat. Manju will happily advise you on all the things to do in the area and arrange whatever you want. Want a tuk tuk? To do a safari in one of the national parks? To go see sunset or an ancient city? To go and try and spot a slender loris on a night walk? Manju will sort it for you. The breakfasts I had were delicious. An excellent place to stay!

Situated in Sigiriya, 3.6 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiriya Rastha Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Very nice and peaceful place. Kosta has a big garden and the hostel is in the forest. Notice that you cant go outsode at night by foot because of the dangerous wild elephant. But Kosta wants to bring you everywhere on the bike, also in daytime which is great. Or you can ask a tuktukdriver. The hostel isn't too big so it has a good vibe. Nice breakfast!

Offering a garden and garden view, Green Bamboo House is located in Sigiriya, 3.4 km from Sigiriya Rock and 6.5 km from Pidurangala Rock. We felt very welcomed, the host and her family are amazing. They helped us to arrange transfer to Pidurangala rock and offered us dinner. Dinner &Breakfast were very good. The room was very clean and we enjoyed our stay there very much.

Everything was perfectly taken care of by the hosts and mainly by their children! They basically planned all the activities of my stay and I just had to follow the instructions 🥰 huge tasty breakfast, amazing clean and cozy rooms and beautiful pool to cool down after the hikes! Perfect stay!

Located within 3.8 km of Sigiriya Rock and 6.9 km of Pidurangala Rock in Sigiriya, Nethmi Homestay offers accommodation with seating area. Nethmi‘s Homestay was like a little oasis close to Sigiriya! The rooms were very spacious, super clean and the A/C was working perfectly. Plus the beds were very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the little patio with our own table and chairs in front of our room with view of the nice garden. The host family was adorable and very friendly. They outdid themselves to make us feel welcome and comfortable. They cooked an authentic Sri Lankan dinner for us which was very delicious, just like the breakfast. On our day of departure they even gave us a lift to the bus station. We had a great stay at Nethmi Homestay and would definitely come back! This place will be your best choice in Sigiriya :)
