The beds were large and very comfortable. We really liked the size and the cleanliness which was extremely good value for money. We highly recommend the dinner and breakfast as well. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. We felt very safe. If you plan on visiting Sigiriya and Lion Rock, this is your place.

Really helpful and welcoming host - he also recommends us some interesting places and activities - all we have to do was jump into tuk-tuk 😀 it's good start spot for Pidurangala and Lion Rock - the house is placed 1.5 km far from the Sigirya city center. He prepared a delicious breakfast, gave us a tea and spent a lot time with us just telling a stories about Sri Lanka. It was a precious time!

We found him to be extremely hard working, dedicated to his wife and growing family, and honest and reliable. He didn’t sugar coat things either. He is himself and very authentic. The homestay was really wonderful. We loved sitting outside the room In the morning listening to the birds and enjoying the garden views of their plants and flowers, drinking a cup of delicious tea. Manju was very helpful and gave us a lot of good suggestions and answered our questions. The room was clean and comfortable. Dhila prepared the most amazing Sri Lankan breakfasts for us every morning, she is an excellent cook. We also had dinner at the homestay on our second night and it was fantastic! Just sorry we didn’t eat there both nights …. Manju and Dhila are a lovely couple. Manju has his dreams and plans which he is working hard towards and we wish him all the very best, he deserves it. Mithu their little daughter is a delight. We wish them all the best with the new baby when it arrives in December. Manju has his own tuk tuk and keep and will run you around at a good price.

Khosta, the manager reccomend me a lot of places to visit and he give a lot of information about the places, also they give me coffee and we spend the time with good music and talks. Thank you Khosta and Isuru for the best secret hiking places!!!

Lovely large room in lush green property. Very private and peaceful. Great location. Lovely hosts serving delicious food. We really enjoyed our stay!

Featuring free WiFi, Gangadiya Lodge is situated in Sigiriya, 1.9 km from Sigiriya Rock. Free private parking is available on site. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Everything was perfectly taken care of by the hosts and mainly by their children! They basically planned all the activities of my stay and I just had to follow the instructions 🥰 huge tasty breakfast, amazing clean and cozy rooms and beautiful pool to cool down after the hikes! Perfect stay!
