Extremely beautiful place, sweetest family, outskirts of the village, in the jungle as sigiriya experience should be. The room is very nice, cute and clean. Bed is very comfortable and has mosquito net. The bathroom is superb, large and has hot water. You have a small extremely cute balcony. You feel the whole house is done with love. The whole family is extremely sweet. You really feel taken care of. They make very nice local breakfast in the morning, check on you if you have any needs, they are all very kind and smiley. You really feel that you are living with a very sweet local family. At the same time you have %100 your personal space. The house is in the jungle, is a nice 10 mins walk from main road. It's on the outskirts but there are other village houses on the way closeby, you feel completely safe walking back and forth. You can see, hear animals, and have cute small visitors. As Sigiriya is a wild elephant area, it is generally not recommended to walk around before-after sunset. With scooter or tuktuk it is fine. I had two days walking, one day scooter and it was very nice. You can also get a tuktuk from main road to house for reasonable price after sunset. At an amazing jungle area like this, you don't wanna stay in busy main road. This house gives you a wonderful serene jungle experience. I will for sure again stay here when i am back in sigiriya.

We really liked the size and the cleanliness which was extremely good value for money. We highly recommend the dinner and breakfast as well. The hostess was very friendly and helpful. We felt very safe. If you plan on visiting Sigiriya and Lion Rock, this is your place.

Great family with good English language skills. Very intentional about service. Large comfortable room - expressly designed for guests and with separate entrance from the main home. Great breakfast. We left filled to the brim. Would have loved to stay longer.

It’s quiet with a beautiful garden but located a short walk from a small village which has small shops and a few places to eat. Manju will happily advise you on all the things to do in the area and arrange whatever you want. Want a tuk tuk? To do a safari in one of the national parks? To go see sunset or an ancient city? To go and try and spot a slender loris on a night walk? Manju will sort it for you. The breakfasts I had were delicious. An excellent place to stay!

Kostha and Isuru are incredibly good hosts. They showed me around the neighbourhood as soon as I arrived. After swimming in the lake, they took us to a secret viewpoint from where you could see Lion Rock and Pisurangala. The next day they got up extra early to show us the sunrise, which was extremely worthwhile. After that, they showed us the whole day and I saw places that I would never have seen otherwise. It was a great stay that I will never forget!

We felt very welcomed, the host and her family are amazing. They helped us to arrange transfer to Pidurangala rock and offered us dinner. Dinner &Breakfast were very good. The room was very clean and we enjoyed our stay there very much.

Featuring free WiFi, Gangadiya Lodge is situated in Sigiriya, 1.9 km from Sigiriya Rock. Free private parking is available on site. Each room is fitted with a private bathroom equipped with a shower. Everything was perfectly taken care of by the hosts and mainly by their children! They basically planned all the activities of my stay and I just had to follow the instructions 🥰 huge tasty breakfast, amazing clean and cozy rooms and beautiful pool to cool down after the hikes! Perfect stay!

Great and calm place with exceptional service of the family running the place. We have used the opportunity to get breakfasts, lunches and dinners here, everything great and with very good prices. The owner and his family are really hospital and helpfull when it comes to trip advices or basically anything. Definitely would recommend!
