The family who owns the place were so sweet and kind and truly went out of their way to make sure we had the best time in Sigiriya possible! The breakfast and dinner was amazing and so was the very spacious room with two huge doublebeds. Would 100% recommend!

To begin with: the hosts were excellent! They met all our needs we’re extremely generous and made our stay a true sri lankan experience. They introduced us into their culture (we were even allowed to look through their wedding photo album), helped us plan our day, arranged activities, prepared wonderful and tasty food and have been very supportive! Both of them are very hard working and do everything to make you happy. You get to meet the whole family, where all are absolute sweethearts. We are so thankful for this experience and recommend to everyone!

Situated in Sigiriya, 3.6 km from Sigiriya Rock, Sigiriya Rastha Hostel features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. Kostha and Isuru are incredibly good hosts. They showed me around the neighbourhood as soon as I arrived. After swimming in the lake, they took us to a secret viewpoint from where you could see Lion Rock and Pisurangala. The next day they got up extra early to show us the sunrise, which was extremely worthwhile. After that, they showed us the whole day and I saw places that I would never have seen otherwise. It was a great stay that I will never forget!
