Family-run house with a fairytale garden, wonderful fruit trees and vegetables in the middle of wonderful nature. Comfortable bed, hot water, functional with a cozy veranda, I felt very comfortable. A highlight were the fireflies at night. The bird watching in the morning was also very nice. It was great that tours to the elephant photo safari and Dambulla were organized for me upon request, and a tuktuk was always available, as Villa Chena is a bit far from the center. I would be happy to come again on my next stay in Sri Lanka.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. everything was amazing!! we loved this homestay, the owner is so nice organized a super nice safari for us and gave us good suggestions. His dinner was the best we had so far in Sri Lanka, with traditional and tasty dishes. Super suggested!!!

Offering a garden and garden view, Green Bamboo House is located in Sigiriya, 3.4 km from Sigiriya Rock and 6.5 km from Pidurangala Rock. The nicest family guest house! Breakfast was delicious. The lush gardens around the house are so beautiful. We had everything we needed, it was the best value for money and the family took a great care of us. Highly recommend to stay here if you are on a budget and want to stay with a local family :)

It was exceptionally clean, the breakfast was substantial and very tasty and it was so peaceful. Our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. Their sons are lovely and drove us in their own tuk tuk to anywhere we wanted to go (for a fair price). We would love to stay again ☺️

The place is great and the family is really warm and welcome. They offer me tea and pancakes on arrival 🥹. The room was clean and comfy, with towel, toilet paper, soap and fan. They pick me up from another place for free and they offer a lot of tours. Breakfast was ok.
