The amazing breakfast and the heart warming friendliness of the hosts are the biggest advantages of this place. Strolling through the little harbour town Mitsu is lovely and the train will take you in 15 mins to downtown Matsuyama.

Located in Mitsuhama, 1.3 miles from Minatomishimadaimyo Shrine, 三津ミーツ provides air-conditioned rooms and a shared lounge. Nice small well orgznized ryokan with tatami setup at the room. Nice quiet neighbourhood, with access to many nearby groceries like Lamu which operate 24hrs, and many other restaurants. Closer to the harbor seaside with short walking distance. The owner is really a nice lady which provided us lots of guidance to explore the nearby attraction places. Will certainly visit this place for a longer period in the near future!

Hotel Fine Garden Matsuyama is located in Matsuyama, within 2 miles of Minatomishimadaimyo Shrine and 2.5 miles of Matsuyama Station. Big room. Very spacious and value for money. But do note that is good only if you drive. There is basically nothing around the hotel. Breakfast was a big portion.

The old resident house was built in the early 1900s and has been very well maintained. Our hosts were so lovely and very generous! They welcomed us with small gifts and a map to show us the best sites to see. Location is very easily accessible by train.

Located just a 3-minute walk from JR Matsuyama Station, Hotel Sunroute Matsuyama is a 10-minute tram ride from Matsuyama Castle. The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Matsuyama Airport. Stayed in the hotel as part of a solo walking henro trip. Everything was good with this hotel stay- room ws fine, clean and comfortable. Location near the Matsyama JR station was convinient. As with other hotels had to wait till the checkin time so was able to leave my backpack and walk around the area. When I returned they have already moved my backpack to the room (nice).
