This was my best stop on this Iceland trip. A simply beautiful hotel in a beautiful city in a beautiful fjord.

Situated in Gardur, Lighthouse-Inn offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. This place exceeded our expectations. It is perfect for a first night in Iceland, warm, cosy, with breakfast included. The staff was very friendly. It is located close to the airport but also far enough not to be affected in any way by the noise. Highly recommended for a short stay.

Viesnīca Basalt atrodas pilsētā Borgarnes. Viesu rīcībā ir restorāns, bārs, dārzs un bezmaksas WiFi. It was an oasis. The evening meal was delicious and hot tub a bonus. Staff were friendly, informative and incredibly helpful. Thank You.

This hotel is situated on Lake Myvatn, 3.3 km from Myvatn Nature Baths. A number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi are featured. Great location and close to everything in Myvatn. Nice hot tubs on the property. Everything was clean. Staff were very welcoming. The breakfast buffet was a bit pricey compared to some of the other places we stayed, but they had great selection and everything was very fresh and replenished regularly.

Set in Akureyri, 39 km from Godafoss Waterfall, Hotel Halond offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. Everything honestly, really well built rooms, great coffee with the nespresso machine and they helped us with a lost item by keeping it on hand after the time of our checkout (traveled in a group of 5)

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. The property was so nice. A great location! I wish we could’ve stayed 2 days there. I think there are lots of interesting hikes thru forests. We only had time to see a nearby waterfall. We saw northern light from the outdoor hot tubs.

Impressive views of Troll Waterfalls and an extensive vinyl collection of over 3000 records are notable features of Fossatún Country Hotel. Lovely hot tubs, very nice and beautiful cozy little homes. And an amazing view while having breakfast.

Situated in Reykholt, within 19 km of Geysir and 29 km of Gullfoss Waterfall, Blue Hotel Fagrilundur - On The Golden Circle features accommodation with free WiFi. Very clean, well furnished, great location and wonderful price/value ratio.
