Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. The triple room was spacious and nicely decorated. The little balcony was a nice touch that we were not expecting. The hotel has beautiful surroundings, it was still beautiful even though we didn’t pick a room with lake view, it would have been nicer with a lake view though. The breakfast was really nice.

Clean and spacious room and bathroom, cosy beds, super view over the craters, nice bar with dinner and breakfast restaurant. We saw the most impressive Aurora over the craters. Staff is friendly and helpfull.

Boasting garden views, Myvo The Studio apartment at Geiteyjarströnd 4 offers accommodation with a garden, around 48 km from Godafoss Waterfall. The location was excellent and the view of the lake was stunning. The suite was beautifully decorated. We appreciated the washing machine.

Located within 2.6 km of Myvatn Nature Baths, Birkilauf in Myvatn has a number of amenities, including lake and mountain views. The way to the accommodation was rather interesting. Nice and secluded house. You share a big house with 3 other rooms. The kitchen is fully decked out. Owner baked bread for everyone in the morning. You will have everything you need to make a meal, alternatively, there are a lot of restaurants around the area you can try. Needless to say, plenty of things to do/see.
