Beautiful spot with great amenities. Customer service was amazing and breakfast was one of the best we had in Iceland.

This hotel is situated on Lake Myvatn, 3.3 km from Myvatn Nature Baths. A number of amenities including a bar and free WiFi are featured. This place has a certain special connection to the spirit of Iceland because it is so close to Dimmu Borgir and to so many places included in the Diamond Circle. We enjoyed the confy bed, the food and...most of all...the cod!

Situated in Gardur, Lighthouse-Inn offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. It’s a really cozy stay after a mid-night flight. It has outstanding location, about 15-mins driving from airport. And the lighthouse and beach nearby are all amazing.

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Nice hotel with great view of the lake. Super friendly staff who offered a golf car to carry our luggages into the rooms. GREAT breakfast, very high quality, with omelette/fried eggs made to order.
