Perfect to discover the Japanese culture and habits. A special mention for then outdoor bath with a nice view on the Tokyo tower.

Situated in Tokyo, within 1.5 km of Sensoji Temple and 2.2 km of Tokyo Skytree, Ryokan Nakadaya offers accommodation with a shared lounge. I had a fabulous stay, the owner was so nice and made the experience so wonderful. The rooms are clean and are cleaned daily. Toilets/showers are also kept clean. The showers had strong water pressure. WiFi was really fast. Location is good with a 10 min walk to the train station. I enjoyed the Japanese experience of sleeping in Ryokan. The owner gave many recommendations for Tokyo and also where is the best place for souvenirs rather than touristic locations which I wouldn't have discovered without the local knowledge so I am really thankful for that.

Ito Ryokan ligger ideelt til i Chuo-distriktet i Tokyo, 200 meter fra monumentet for japansk tradisjonell kinesisk medisin, 400 meter fra handlegaten Amazake Yokocho og 500 meter fra... Feel like home, Staff are the best, The Manager is very well English Speaking, she is full of service mind and well-educated. She is so kind. I met all 6 staff differently for 3 days staying. Location is good, near 2 metro/subway lines. We can go anywhere in Tokyo. I reserved a single room, and I felt so happy to stay here. I could sleep so well. The aircondition is cold enough to help releasing hot summer.

Takanawa Hanakohro - in Grand Prince Hotel Takanawa ligger i Tokyo, litt under 2,5 km fra Ebisu Garden Place, og tilbyr en restaurant. Absolutely loved this place. The staff was incredibly kind, breakfast was great, and the beds were so comfy.

Ryokan Sansuiso is only 450 metres from JR Gotanda Train Station, on the Yamanote Line. It offers traditional Japanese accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) floors, futon beds and free Wi-Fi. Such a warm welcome It was a very short stay for me but I was touched how beautifully everything is organized. The room is minimalistic but features everything that you need, and the hearty people are always there to help you out with any inquiry. Liked the food map of the area as well. Ryokan Kamogawa Asakusa is a 2-minute walk from Kaminarimon and Sensoji Temple. Asakusa Subway Station is a 5-minute walk away. Bath, good air con, reasonably sized room. Super friendly staff who offered to take a photo of me in front of the skytree.

In the Taito district of Tokyo, close to Great Tokyo Air Raid Memorial Monument, Japanese traditional house.Ryokan in asakusa with 2bedrooms features a terrace, free WiFi and a washing machine. Beautiful roomy space. Loved the traditional tatami. Great location with clear communication from the host.

Offering free bikes and quiet street view, Tokyo inn Sakura An is set in Tokyo, 200 metres from Tokyo Origami Museum and 600 metres from Komagatado. It was located in a nice corner of Asakusa. A bit of a walk and definitely cold during winter. But nice walk nonetheless. Host was superb and so friendly.

Nobori is situated in Ome, 42 km from Mount Takao, 46 km from Sanrio Puroland, and 48 km from Fuchu Park. The 2-star ryokan has mountain views and is 41 km from Tamarokuto Science Center. It was stunning. I love staying at these kind of places, it is so special. These are accommodations which are run by the families of ( former) priests of the temple. They live in the house too, but you don't see or hear them much. The house was stunning, I love the old architecture. The food they made was SO good and much, I was always full. If you do not like sleeping on futons, this is not an option for you. The view on shimmering tokyo was stunning. The room was big and had its own bathroom. The women shared hot bath was clean and nice to use. I have been treaded nicely and with respect.
