Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, as well as 36 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. The evening meal was a delicious curated seasonal multi-course menu, with tender wagyu beef as the highlight. The staff were so attentive even though we had very limited Japanese. And of course the room, onsen and view were amazing.

Set 10 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. I would say this is a hidden gem for a non japanese speaking tourist. Its quite far from popular destination but everything about this inn so so perfect. The hospitality, the cleanliness, the food, all of those are superb. Not to mention the onsens. We got to choose different private onsen room, one of them is jacuzzi! Cant praise this inn enough. We were so happy, even my wife started to cry when we had to leave this property. Definitely will recommend to other travelers.

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. Clean, Comfortable, the traditional ryokan vibe is great. Close to station, the scenary around is wonderful. There is an awesome seaside opendoor onsen within walking distance. Most important, the owner is so nice and friendly!
