Ryokan Hostel K's House sijaitsee 100 vuotta vanhassa rekisteröidyssä kulttuuriperintörakennuksessa Shizuokassa, 7 minuutin kävelymatkan päässä JR Iton rautatieasemalta. This was the first hostel I’ve stayed in and I can’t recommend it enough! The property is absolutely beautiful in a traditional Japanese style with a large common area that’s great to hangout and chat with other guests. The staff also speaks English and are so friendly and helpful it feels like a second home. There is cleaning that happens in the hostel everyday between 11am-3pm but you can still use the premises and sit around the common area, it’s just the onsen that’s closed. The onsen is also absolutely amazing. The town also kinda goes to sleep relatively early so the hostel is quite peaceful by 9pm. I stayed in a female only dorm and it was quite spacious and everyone was tidy and quiet at night.

Situated 1.6 km from Takayama Station, Iroriyado Hidaya is a recently renovated 4-star accommodation in Takayama, boasting a garden, a shared lounge and private parking. Great stay, very clean and amazing Japanese breakfast. Outstanding staff, super helpful and friendly! We loved it! Great addition to be able to reserve a private bath house for 1h at night .

Atami Sekaie is set in Atami, 2.6 km from Atami Sun Beach, 25 km from Hakone-Yumoto Station, as well as 36 km from Shuzen-ji Temple. The breakfast and dinner were great. We enjoyed some of traditional Japanese dishes. Also we enjoyed coffee at the balcony over looking the Pacific Ocean. The location was quiet and privacy was ensured, so we were able to maintain our Nonerelaxing time. Last but not least, guest room with private open-air bath was great.

SOKI ATAMI features a sauna and a hot spring bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodation in Atami, 1.7 km from Atami Sun Beach. This 4-star ryokan offers a 24-hour front desk and a lift. It's a beautiful hotel with incredible amenities. The food was incredibly worth it and one of the most memorable meals of our trip. The staff was gracious and helpful and the rooms were fantastic.

Set within 700 metres of Gero Station and 48 km of Takayama Station, 寅家 Japanese modern hotel offers rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Gero. Cozy and comfortable; the staff were so kind and welcoming. The onsen was fantastic.

Set 10 km from Shuzen-ji Temple, Yumeguri no Yado Yoshiharu offers 5-star accommodation in Izunokuni and has a garden. Very friendly staff. The old lady who served us was very kind and nice. This is the best onsen hotel that we had in our 2 weeks Japan trip. Thank you!

Facing the seafront, Izu Hokkawa Seaside Guesthouse 伊豆北川の家 is a ryokan providing a 2-star accommodation in Higashiizu. It features a private beach area, garden and private parking. The owner treated us so nice! The property is in a quiet village but very close to the train station. Our stay was very comfortable. The owner even allowed us to keep our luggage there after checkout and then gave us a ride to the train station. Would definitely come again!

Located in Higashiizu in the Shizuoka Region, 1.8 km from Atagawa Hot Spring, Kissho Caren boasts a terrace and spa centre. Guests can enjoy the sunrise and views of Sagami Bay. truly exceptional resort, fabulous onsen in beautiful setting, wonderful meals. definitely highly recommended

Offering a garden and garden view, Nagataki is located in Nakatsugawa, 10 km from Toson Memorial Museum and 10 km from Magome Wakihonjin Museum. The house and the staff. Such an old school charm and the staff were the friendliest. The price although slightly hefty, Is completely worth it as the dinner is nothing short of 6-course Michelin star.
