An en suite bathroom and yukata robes are provided. i stayed 1 night with the hotel. although it was quite far from the port, i didnt feel the difference with the hotel shuttle bus. the staff came and took our baggage after we called so that we can walk around the street and the bus was magically there when the shopping street closes which was very thoughtful. the staff even recognise us as we met for a few mins when handing the bags to him. when we check in, slippers were prepared, bags in our room and aircon turned on. room was spacious and had great view. dinner was fantastic as well and beds were prepared for us after dinner. Besides amazing nature views, comfortable rooms come with a flat-screen TV, a mini-fridge and an en suite bathroom. Yukata robes and green tea are provided. Guests sleep in Japanese futon bedding on the tatami (woven mat) floor. Amazing ryokan with a stunning view. We could see the gate and the temple from both our room and during dinner/breakfast. The rooms are nice, big, and cozy. The meals are just incredible. We were really full after the dinner (about 10 courses). The staff was kind and helpful. They were able to prepare vegan meals for one of us. Also, they brought our luggage directly to the ferry station (they also have a pick-up service, if needed). The private onsen is amazing. I hope to come back one day!

The location is beautiful and you can truly feel the connection with nature and the relaxed feeling it brings. The ryokan offered a luxurious experience with a delicious Japanese dinner and breakfast option. The staff were more than welcoming and made sure we had everything available. My friend and I stayed here following some friends’ recommendation and we don’t regret it all!

Yukata robes and a private toilet are included in each room, but bathrooms are shared. The shared bath is available from 16:00 to 23:00. The host made ourselves feel like at home. The room was very cosy. When we arrived she gave us all the tips for visiting the island, including tide schedule. We had private access to the onsen for 1hr for the whole family. 厳島いろは is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. The hotel offers a restaurant and Japanese-style rooms with free wired internet access. Beautiful building and rooms. Great staff, incredible dinner and breakfast. Right in the heart of the shopping street and so close to the temples. Very easy to find.

The units will provide guests with air conditioning, a safety deposit box and a flat-screen TV. We arranged for dinner in our room, which was amazing. There was a slight language barrier at dinner, but there were English-printed menus. The location was great, right near the Tori gates. We could go out at night and see the lights since the main door is open until Midnight. The staff was very accommodating.
