For oss som ikke er fra Japan så føler vi at dette er autentisk japanske stil. Fra rommene til måltidene. Fint at alle fikk klær som gjorde stilen komplett til middagsservering og frokost.

Oyado Tsukiusagi offers Japanese-style rooms and free WiFi, within a 10-minute walk from Itsukushima Shrine. Some rooms come with sea views, and all have a private bathroom. Utmerket beliggenhet og veldig bra service hos verten. Koslig lite sted.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. Amazing ryokan with a stunning view. We could see the gate and the temple from both our room and during dinner/breakfast. The rooms are nice, big, and cozy. The meals are just incredible. We were really full after the dinner (about 10 courses). The staff was kind and helpful. They were able to prepare vegan meals for one of us. Also, they brought our luggage directly to the ferry station (they also have a pick-up service, if needed). The private onsen is amazing. I hope to come back one day!

Fantastisk overnattingssted med god mat, hyggelig atmosfære og sjarmerende betjening i både resepsjonen og restauranten. Føltes oss veldig velkommen og kommer gjerne tilbake. Only a 1-minute walk from Miyajima Ferry Terminal, Yamaichi Bekkan features accommodations with free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV. Yukata robes are provided for all guests. Perfect location, staff amazingly nice and pleasant. The food was also delicious.

Located at Miyajima and featuring beautiful views of the five-story pagoda of Itsukushima Shrine, Ryoso Kawaguchi offers Japanese-style accommodations with free Wi-Fi. The host made ourselves feel like at home. The room was very cosy. When we arrived she gave us all the tips for visiting the island, including tide schedule. We had private access to the onsen for 1hr for the whole family. The day we left, it was raining heavily and the host gave us a lift to the ferry station in their private car. 厳島いろは is located in Miyajima’s Omotesando Avenue, a 5-minute walk from Itsukushima Shinto Shrine and Miyajima Pier. Beautiful building and rooms. Great staff, incredible dinner and breakfast. Right in the heart of the shopping street and so close to the temples. Very easy to find.

Featuring mountain views, Bettei Fujiya provides accommodation with an open-air bath, a garden and a terrace, around 26 km from Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park.

Located in Miyajima with Five Storey Pagoda and Itsukushima Shrine nearby, Kinsuikan provides accommodation with free private parking, as well as access to a hot spring bath. We arranged for dinner in our room, which was amazing. There was a slight language barrier at dinner, but there were English-printed menus. The location was great, right near the Tori gates. We could go out at night and see the lights since the main door is open until Midnight. The staff was very accommodating.
