This is truly a dream come true kind of hotel.

Absolutely fantastic little guesthouse (and observatory) right off the beaten track and in the most peaceful hillside location, you’re really up in the hills with great views. Very affordable Japanese style rooms, really clean and comfortable even for a group (8) sharing a large family room! Shared bathrooms with good showers and a lovely warm bath. You can request breakfast (Japanese style) and a basic noodles or curry & rice dinner which is simple, but really hits the spot after a day exploring the Iya Valley. The folks running the guesthouse were super friendly, helpful and generally all round lovely, showing us round the observatory and helping us with stargazing. We only intended to stay one night but loved it so much we stayed an extra night! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, such a very special place.

Our stay here was a fantastic experience. We availed of the men's and women's hot baths, which were wonderful, and wore the kimonos that were supplied in the room. The hosts were kind and welcoming, and breakfast was very generous. We have marvellous memories of our stay here.

Room was comfortable, with a great view of the Niyodo River. Dinner was excellent, one of the best of my trip.

Got the in-room rotenburo option and it was just what we were looking for - temperature is suitable for smaller children, and they could play with the water inlet flow without disturbing other guests in the public bath.. Faciities as expecte and functional.

Nice traditional breakfast and the hotel has a souvenir shop inside. Nice and clean bath. The room was very big for 1 person and very comfortable with individual bath included.

Objekat Hotel Takasago nudi smeštaj sa 3 zvezdice, a nalazi se u gradu Koči, na 36 km od znamenitosti Daizen-ji Temple i 37 km od znamenitosti Nishihama Park. The staff very very nice. The room was comfortable. The location was very close to the castle and main shopping area.

Sansuien features an open-air natural hot spring bath, a Japanese garden and Western and Japanese-style rooms, only a 5-minute walk from Kochi Castle. The Japanese room was spacious. The breakfast very good. Lots of great options of western and Japanese food. Delicious!
