The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The rooms were spacious and the view amazing. This is truly a dream come true kind of hotel.

Absolutely fantastic little guesthouse (and observatory) right off the beaten track and in the most peaceful hillside location, you’re really up in the hills with great views. Very affordable Japanese style rooms, really clean and comfortable even for a group (8) sharing a large family room! Shared bathrooms with good showers and a lovely warm bath. You can request breakfast (Japanese style) and a basic noodles or curry & rice dinner which is simple, but really hits the spot after a day exploring the Iya Valley. The folks running the guesthouse were super friendly, helpful and generally all round lovely, showing us round the observatory and helping us with stargazing. We only intended to stay one night but loved it so much we stayed an extra night! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, such a very special place.

The accommodation features a hot tub, free WiFi throughout the property and family rooms. Traditional Japanese hotel whose owners/staff were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. The food was incredible and they were more than happy to cater for my food allergies. We had great company and conversation with other guests with using our basic Japanese and via google translate. A beautiful setting.

Got the in-room rotenburo option and it was just what we were looking for - temperature is suitable for smaller children, and they could play with the water inlet flow without disturbing other guests in the public bath.. Faciities as expecte and functional.

Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. Pleasant stay, very clean and organised. Nice traditional breakfast and the hotel has a souvenir shop inside. Nice and clean bath. The room was very big for 1 person and very comfortable with individual bath included.

Lots of great options of western and Japanese food. Delicious!
