Featuring an open-air bath and views of city, Jyoseikan is a ryokan situated in a historic building in Kochi, 34 km from Daizen-ji Temple. Private parking is available on site. We LOVED our stay at Jyoseikan. My husband and I were traveling with two toddlers and an infant and Jyoseikan is VERY family friendly. They even have a toddler play area in the lobby. The staff at Jyoseikan were accommodating, professional, and enthusiastic. I was especially impressed by the way that all of the staff spoke to and treated our toddlers - as if they were guests just as valued as the adult guests! We did the dinner service, and it was AMAZING. We were also traveling with two additional adult guests who did not care for Japanese cuisine, and the staff went out of their way to prepare western style meals for them. Everything was impeccably clean and efficient. We will absolutely return next time we are in Kochi.

Breakfast and dinner was superb with excellent service. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to accommodate our every need. The rooms were spacious and the view amazing. This is truly a dream come true kind of hotel.

Offering a garden and lake view, Yumeno Onsen is situated in Kami, 7.7 km from Kami City Takashi Yanase Memorial Hall and 20 km from Kōchi Station. Private parking is available on site. I absolutely loved staying here. It was so quaint and peaceful with the best view. It was in a great location with lots of sights nearby. Would definitely stay here again

Got the in-room rotenburo option and it was just what we were looking for - temperature is suitable for smaller children, and they could play with the water inlet flow without disturbing other guests in the public bath.. Faciities as expecte and functional.

Pleasant stay, very clean and organised. Nice traditional breakfast and the hotel has a souvenir shop inside. Nice and clean bath. The room was very big for 1 person and very comfortable with individual bath included.

Loved this hotel for its kindness, cleanliness, and atmosphere. Had friendly staff and koi pond a the bottom. The friendly staff held our luggage for the day but also let us check into the room a few hours early, and it was a lovely spacious Japanese style room including tatami floors but with two twin actual mattress beds. The room was huge with a nice view and was only a short walk from Kochi Station. It's only a short walk to the city area as well. Loved the Japanese style breakfast. My friend was ill so the staff were really helpful to help me take her food to our room and eat it there. It cost a little more than our usual budget but it was worth paying a little extra for a fancy night of Japanese style accommodation with friendly staff.

Sansuien features an open-air natural hot spring bath, a Japanese garden and Western and Japanese-style rooms, only a 5-minute walk from Kochi Castle. This was a true, bonafide, traditional Japanese ryokan experience! There is so much history that it justifies the facilities being older. The whole experience was wonderful, especially the kind and excellent staff.

Misaki Kanko Hotel is a 3-star property situated in Muroto. This ryokan offers free private parking and a housekeeping service. I am a financially entitled Henro walking Shikoku in February. I was fascinated by Cape Muroto. I wanted to day off from walking and took it in Muroto. I chose the only open place and it was beyond expectations. The Ashford Castle of Kochi! Great room, great view, amazing staff. Beyond belief food
