Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. The futons were comfortable - unlike many accommodations. The villa was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the onsen.

Chuzenji Pension býður upp á garð og útsýni yfir vatnið. Boðið er upp á gistirými á besta stað í Nikko, í stuttri fjarlægð frá Kegon Falls, Chuzenji-stöðuvatninu og Chuzenji-hofinu. Everything! The pension is a quiete place, perfect for relaxing. The staff was just amazing, they treated me very well. I was received with an extraordinary dinner, and then relaxed in the private onsen. The lake surrounding the place is a must see. Would return again!

This guesthouse is hidden gem during our 2 night stay at Kusatsu onsen with only 7-8 rooms & the environment is very cozy. The guesthouse was newly renovated & everything like new. We booked 4pax stay & the rooms condition is excellent. The staff service is good. We love it very much the onsen facility on this guesthouse. Breakfast provided were excellent. Nevertheless, this guesthouse is highly recommend during your visit to Kusatsu Onsen.

Set in Takasaki, 28 km from Usui Pass Railway Heritage Park, Ryutakuzenji 宿坊 offers accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a bar. We had a great time staying at Ryutakuzenji! The owner is very friendly and welcoming and provided a lot of great insights to the history of the property. This was definitely the most unique stay we had in Japan and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Mr. Tendou!

Kusatsu Hotel Bekkan Wata no Yu (Adult Only) er staðsett í Kusatsu, 45 km frá Jigokudani-apagarðinum og 14 km frá Mt. Shirane. I would highly recommend! There was a very homely atmosphere. The dinner was perfect and enough food for 2 days! Rooms were specious with a view on the stream. Next to the accommodation is a beautiful park with multiple footbaths and the street to the centre is filled with souvenir shops and unique eats. The staff were real accommodating, especially the hostes was exceptionally welcoming, sweet and lovely! The in-house onsen and sauna was extremely relaxing. 11 out of 10!

Minakamisansou er staðsett í Minakami, aðeins 36 km frá Gala Yuzawa-skíðadvalarstaðnum og býður upp á gistirými með aðgangi að baði undir berum himni, sameiginlegri setustofu og lyftu. We had a lovely view of the mountains. The private onsen was very nice, but the public onsen is very good as well! The staff is very nice and always accomodating. If you like traditional Japanese food, you'll love what they serve during the evening and morning. I recommend to stay at this ryokan either during fall (momiji) or winter. We were a bit too early for the heavy snowfalls, but still managed to catch some snow the second evening. Even without the snow it was lovely. I can imagine it looks amazing with the fall colors!

Hanaingen is an adult only accommodation situated in Kusatsu, just a 2-minute walk from Yubatake, or the hot water field in Kusatsu Onsen. This was one of my favourite stays during my trip to Japan! Our twin room was cosy, comfortable and so clean. The beds were the comfiest we had in Japan; I had the most relaxing sleep while staying here. We absolutely loved the breakfast we had, and everyone at the hotel was so kind and friendly. Their hospitality was the highlight of the trip! We stayed two nights and the chef made us a different meal each morning, and took us through the dishes as he brought them to us, and we were given delicious welcome sweets and matcha when we arrived. The breakfast room was so cosy with a fireplace and free coffee and tea. The location is excellent and easy to find; it was only a couple of minutes walk to the bus terminal and to the Yubatake, which is where most of the shops and restaurants are located. The four private onsen are also wonderful. We got to try out two, and we never found that we had to wait or miss out on using one of them when we wanted to. I loved the little baskets containing towels, pyjamas and toiletries that we were given. There are plenty of toiletries available in each of the onsen, and the pyjamas were so comfortable I wish I could have brought a pair home!

Soumeian er staðsett í Kusatsu á Gunma-svæðinu og býður upp á gistirými með ókeypis WiFi og ókeypis einkabílastæði ásamt aðgangi að heitu hverabaði. The room was clean and very spacious! The hotel offers pyjamas and Yukatas for guests. The breakfast was so tasty and the service was incredible! The Onsen is private and available from 3pm to 9am. Overall we loved our experience and would come back anytime.

Sekizenkan Kashotei Sanso er 4 stjörnu gististaður í Nakanojo, 36 km frá Ishidan-gai-tröppunum. Boðið er upp á bað undir berum himni. Gistirýmið er með loftkælingu og er 49 km frá Naeba-skíðasvæðinu. The kaiseki cuisine was a memorable experience, the open air onsen was great, the staff gave good recommendations on places to visit in town and were super friendly. Small yet cozy town, will definitely come back again!
