Staff and owner are exceptionally friendly and accommodating, we were kindly driven down to the station on our check out day which was completely snowed out
The traditional Japanese breakfast was very good
The accomodation is one of the closest to Hakuba goryu escal plaza, within 5 minutes walk with gear
Rooms were nice and cozy
Bath is on the smaller size but a blessing to have after a long day snowboarding

The owners/staff were soooo nice! The breakfast was out of this world. So so delicious. The attention to detail was beyond what we expected. Cannot wait to go back! Thank you so much!! You guys are amazing!!
Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
It only takes 15 minutes to drive to Ogizawa Station, making it very convenient to go up the mountain early in the morning. The place has a foosball table, free hot springs, and vending machines with beer and beverages, which is great.
Nice and friendly staff. Onsen bath is very relax and location was good and it's convinent to visit Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine route (Ogizawa bus terminal)
Good communication with the owner beforehand. Perfect location near the train station and the bus station to Ogisawa. Our luggage were taken care of by the owner in the morning and were waiting for us at Toyama station after doing the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. Very nice Ryokan overall with confortable futons.
The staff were really kind and allowed us to leave our luggage there when we went on our round trip up Tateyama. Onsen was comfy for 2 people and the tatami beds were comfortable too! Good value for money in Omachi and super close to the station.
The best things about this hotel are (1) the onsen which is located on a rooftop terrace, (2) the staff that went out of their way to make our stay excellent and (3) the traditional Japanese style room (although the thin futon could have been more comfortable for people who are not used to this type of bedding). There is free (iced) coffee, tea and water all day in the spacious lobby with comfortable couches. The hotel is in a quiet area and our room commanded a very nice view of the river and foresty and hilly landscape.
