The property itself is very nice design, clean and welcoming. The best part is the staff and the owner, awesome people. Annie was waiting for us at the property and offer us an upgrade. We live the loft we stayed in. She stay with us and explained us what we can do in Kanazawa and Mikawa and give us a map and other tourist informations. After she called to make a restaurant reservation in the village at the famous sashimi place where the cook is authorized to cook Paffer fish.
We went walking at the restaurant and unfortunately we had to go ti an atm to take cash because the restaurant accept only cash. Sasa, the owner of the B&B was looking after us, after the restaurant told him we went for cash. At the supermarket he pick us up in the car and bring us to the restaurant. He helped us with the order and later he come to pick us up and invite us for sake in the bae village. We are appreciating everything and we highly recommend Ainee, Sasa and his B&B.
They also had a small self service breakfast included in the price and a good coffee machine. Value and service of our stay at this property are more than 10. Thank you again.

Our room was amazing. We had a large room with a shower and bathtub which was so nice. We stayed in for different areas of Japan during our trip and this place offered the best breakfast. It had a variety of western style and Japanese food. The employees were so nice and accommodating. The atmosphere was very warm and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again if I get the opportunity to come back to this area

Full of character and history. Beautiful, clean and spacious.
Experience culture authentically with a stay at these traditional Japanese-style accommodations. Sleep on the floor (on a futon roll) in a room furnished with tatami flooring and sliding doors. Guests can often expect access to a communal bath, plus a complimentary Japanese garment called a yukata.
Truly a unique authentic traditional Japanese experience with tatami and garden. The host was extremely helpful despite speaking no English. While the place was out of the way from the main city of Kanazawa, the trade off was a quiet suburban neighbourhood of Japan, very close to a supermarket and an amazing sushi restaurant called Nishikawaya we had 12 freshly made nigiri for a very reasonable price.
Their onsen was undergoing renovations and so they kindly let people use the private onsen for free for 40 minutes. It was quite small but very pleasant. Very quiet and lovely mountain area, beautiful autumn leaves.
Super Nice Local Breakfast! The BBQ dinner is awesome and the staffs are very helpful. Overall environment is good. The only thing was no onsen due to damage of pipe but hotel allow us to use the private onsen at no cost. Very nice experience and highly recommended.
We really loved our stay at Hotel Roan! The service was excellent, staff were so helpful and recommended activities for us to do in the area. The onsen is currently not active but the private bath is lovely, a stone pool in an outdoor setting, you can relax after skiing while watching the snow fall. Food was excellent using produce from the area - wild boar, tofu, trout.
