Beachside Resort Motel is less than 5 minutes walk from Whitianga centre and less than 100 metres from Buffalo Beach. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a tennis court. The room set up was good. Plenty of space.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way). We loved the location; how we could walk right out the front of our bach and step onto a sandy pathway to a gorgeous beach. Perfect for evening walks and early morning sunrise viewing. Comfy beds and everything we needed as far as appliances, shovels for the hot water beach, enough towels for shower and beach.

Just 8 minutes’ walk from Whangamata Beach, Palm Pacific Resort & Motel boasts an outdoor pool, a hot tub and a tennis court. One of the best places we have stayed in had everything from air con to all the amenities and location was great free use of barbecues staff were excellent

Located on The Esplanade overlooking Tairua Harbour, Paku Lodge Resort offers self-contained accommodation with a private balcony and harbour views. The location was a short drive to Catherdral Cove. The view of the water from the balcony at sunset was beautiful. Check-in was very easy, and the staff was extremely friendly. The rooms were very nice, spacious, and clean. I would highly recommend staying here and wish we stayed longer.

Located next to the Lost Spring Thermal Pools, this resort offers direct access to Buffalo Beach and has a heated outdoor pool, tennis court and a children's playground. Very clean and tidy Spacious and felt like a home away from home. Beautiful location, beautiful people

Situated in the heart of an eco and wilderness park, Treetops Lodge & Estate offers luxurious suites and villas with views of the forest and lakes. This place is phenomenal. The food is great, the staff is so attentive and work so hard to make things personally special for the guests. Plus the property is unreal - so many trails to explore, a beautiful water fall exclusive to the property, I only wish we'd stayed longer!
