The food is great, the staff is so attentive and work so hard to make things personally special for the guests. Plus the property is unreal - so many trails to explore, a beautiful water fall exclusive to the property, I only wish we'd stayed longer!

Taupo DeBretts Spa Resort is just 800 metres from Lake Taupo crater lake. It has a natural thermal spa and is only 5 minutes' drive from the Taupo town centre. Free Wi-Fi is available. We really like that you can come and go to the pools all day, and that they are such a short walk from the rooms. We also like the chairs in the shade around the pools.

You can walk to Cathedral Cove from Hahei Beach Resort, follow the beach and connect to the Cathedral Cove walkway (the walk takes about 1 hour each way). The view was out of this world, the comfort was amazing too.

Located on The Esplanade overlooking Tairua Harbour, Paku Lodge Resort offers self-contained accommodation with a private balcony and harbour views. Great location, stunning views from balcony. Apartment was very well thought out and was very comfortable. Everything we needed was supplied. Good car parking. Beach just a stones throw away.

Located next to the Lost Spring Thermal Pools, this resort offers direct access to Buffalo Beach and has a heated outdoor pool, tennis court and a children's playground. The pool was an absolute win. Great location
