Its like the survivor series concept. Away from city life. Enjoyed the nature, sea, sand and sun. It is very calming. The staff are friendly and jovial. Thank you Fadzli and Jill(sorry guys if i spelled your names wrongly, and sorry to the rest as I did not catch your names). Met the owner, Hafiz, awesome guy. The place is so welcoming, even the cat named Tuxedo, rests on top of me while i was relaxing on the hammock. He makes me feel at home.

Situated amidst abundant greenery, Sepilok Nature Lodge - Formerly known as Sepilok Nature Resort is a haven for nature lovers. Beautiful rooms nestled into a lush jungle setting. Comfortable beds and big rooms. All facilities are clean and well maintained. I really enjoyed laying on the porch hammock listening to the sounds of the jungle and looking for animals. We were lucking enough to spot 4 orangutans at the resort. This was the best hotel we stayed during our 2 weeks in Borneo.

Shunde Palm Resort 仙本那顺德人家棕榈园 in Semporna has a garden and a terrace. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a shared kitchen and room service, along with free WiFi. We loved the shunde palm resort as it’s out of town and nice and quiet, however it’s close enough to walk to restaurants or for 4rgt you can get a grab into the town centre. The owners are really friendly and arranged a great trip to the islands and sea Gypsies village at a good reasonable price and not with lots of tourists. It was like a private tour. Breakfast was included Location is lovely in the middle of a palm plantation. We are more than happy to recommend shunde palm as a great alternative to staying in the town centre where it is noice. The individual bungalows where super clean and just like they have being renovated, with ac and super good fans. Good wifi
