El complejo de playa Bigfin se encuentra frente al mar en Kota Belud y ofrece una zona de playa privada. El establecimiento alberga un restaurante y un jardín. Feels like a hidden gem and private paradise. Great dive shop with charismatic guides, nice boat, sufficient equipment. Great to wake up to a view of Mt Kinabalu and all the food was really lovely home cooking and tasted great. It felt like living in a little community for a couple of days :)

Situated amidst abundant greenery, Sepilok Nature Lodge - Formerly known as Sepilok Nature Resort is a haven for nature lovers. I was astounded when we arrived. it’s pretty big complex, but done amazingly well: all wooden elements, batik accents, beautifully maintained. the common spaces are a pleasure to stroll around and the room itself was spacious, clean, with nice decor, huge bathroom and additional bathtub. loved it! on top of that the staff was helpful and kind, food and drinks were delicious and very reasonably priced

Shunde Palm Resort 仙本那顺德人家棕榈园, en Semporna, tiene jardín y terraza. Este alojamiento ofrece restaurante, cocina compartida y servicio de habitaciones, además de wifi gratis. We loved the shunde palm resort as it’s out of town and nice and quiet, however it’s close enough to walk to restaurants or for 4rgt you can get a grab into the town centre. The owners are really friendly and arranged a great trip to the islands and sea Gypsies village at a good reasonable price and not with lots of tourists. It was like a private tour. Breakfast was included Location is lovely in the middle of a palm plantation. We are more than happy to recommend shunde palm as a great alternative to staying in the town centre where it is noice. The individual bungalows where super clean and just like they have being renovated, with ac and super good fans. Good wifi

Set amidst a nature reserve overlooking the South China Sea, Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu features relaxing stays in elegantly furnished guest rooms. Super nice hotel, very private location, but of course the hotel is big. We got a free upgrade to an ocean wing, which was really kind from the management and made our stay even much better, cause main pool sometimes crowded to be honest) Nice pools, greatest breakfasts, super helpfull staff, great ficilities. Everything in a good shape and quality.

Timba Garden FREE TOWN AND JETTY TRANSPORT tiene piscina al aire libre, jardín, salón de uso común y restaurante en Semporna. El alojamiento se encuentra a unos 5 kilómetros de Semporna en plena naturaleza. Los propietarios se encargan de llevarte y traerte en todo momento por lo que no es un problema. De hecho, se agradece estar alejado de la ciudad, que es bastante caótica. Las habitaciones son amplios bungalós independientes con buen aire acondicionado, baño nuevo y cama muy cómoda. El entorno está muy cuidado y es súper agradable. La terraza sobre la naturaleza es un verdadero gusto. Todo está impecablemente limpio (tienen también servicio de lavandería por un módico precio) y la atención de los propietarios es estupenda. Están muy atentos a cualquier cosa que puedas necesitar y te ayudan en todo lo que pueden. Ellos mismos hacen de intermediarios para contratar excursiones a las islas para bucear o hacer snorkel. El desayuno está incluido y las cenas (nada caras) son cocinadas por el propietario bajo petición.

El Kokol Haven Resort ofrece alojamiento de 3 estrellas en Kota Kinabalu, a 15 km del mercado filipino Sabah y a 11 km de la mezquita de la ciudad de Likas. The view was out of this world and our room was great. Stephen, the general manager and his staff were so helpful and friendly, wished we could stay longer.
