The staff was exceptional. Specifically Sathish who works there helped us navigate through our stay with lots of ease. The food was so affordable during this difficult time and the cabana we stayed in was something out of a dream!

Amazing views. Warm and welcoming staff. Excellent service from the manager who spoilt us in our fantastic sky villa. We will be recommending to our friends.

Friendly staff, good rooms conditions, quiet place. Nice and atmospheric restaurant. Small buffet type breakfast!

Featuring a garden, Kandy Mountain Cottage is situated in Kandy, 2.1 km from Kandy City Center Shopping Mall. Very quaint little hotel. The location isn’t all that bad, just about a 15-20 min walk into Kandy. The breakfasts were very filling and delicious. Overall this was a great stay and I would recommend.

Green View Holiday Resort has a variety of rooms, each with its own private bathroom. Free WiFi is available in the resort’s common areas. Facilities include an outdoor pool and restaurant. Wonderful hosts, terrific breakfast, and the property is outside the loud hustle bustle of the city.

Boasting an open-air bath and views of inner courtyard, The Tea Cottage Resort & Spa is a recently renovated luxury tent situated in Nawalapitiya, 31 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens. This place is worth not just a detour but the whole trip to Sri Lanka. The road to get there from St Clair is a breathtaking ride through the tea plantations. The resort is beautifully designed and well kept. We received a free upgrade and our rooms had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the jungle and a river valley down below. Every detail of the décor of the rooms is tastefully picked and the result is elegant without pretense. The food was interesting, good and fairly priced, and served on a beautiful deck with a vista. The staff was friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and it will remain a high point in our two-week visit of Sri Lanka. Incidentally, it is a steal!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Golden Villa Kandy is located in Kandy. There is an on-site restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. Property is a private self contained apartment (with kitchen) in a quiet neighbourhood in the hills near Kandy. The apartment was originally intended for the owners parents to visit (a Doctor) though it is now mostly rented out. Clean throughout (no bad odours), spacious and comfortable with a good breakfast. Owner is amazingly nice, considerate and went over and above to make us feel welcome; picked us up from town and took us to the sights the next day; checked that were OK getting back from dinner the next day. We were advised that Tuk Tuk price from central Kandy was about 350-500 LKR; and we were able to find something in that range evening on Christmas Eve. There is limited commerce/restaurants directly around the neighbourhood. Something to be aware of though it did not affect our satisfaction given the hosts abundant hospitality.

The owners were so nice it was like home away from home they prepared beautiful vegetarian dinner for us and a packed breakfast as we left early, beautiful clean room with super comfy beds I would definitely return.

Victoria Golf and Country Resort is a beautiful property nestled away amidst lush greenery. Guests enjoy free access to the outdoor swimming pool and vast golf course. You'll love this place if you enjoy being surrounded by greenery. The service was amazing; everyone was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped with everything we needed. The pool was great, and the view from the pool was stunning. We had a wonderful time staying there. The food was also good. We ordered breakfast to our room, and the way it was wrapped and delivered shows how much they value their service
