Located amidst rolling green hills and the Madulkelle Tea Estate, this property offers tents with a terrace, a seating area, and en suite bathroom with hot/cold water. It's our 2nd time in Madulkelle Tea and Eco Lodge and we will keep coming back! Inspiring and magical place where you get to sleep just under the clouds. All the comforts. 5-star food. Wonderful experiences on offer for nature lovers. Lovely caring staff who make us feel at home away from home. It's always difficult leaving this wonderful place.

The road to get there from St Clair is a breathtaking ride through the tea plantations. The resort is beautifully designed and well kept. We received a free upgrade and our rooms had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the jungle and a river valley down below. Every detail of the décor of the rooms is tastefully picked and the result is elegant without pretense. The food was interesting, good and fairly priced, and served on a beautiful deck with a vista. The staff was friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and it will remain a high point in our two-week visit of Sri Lanka. Incidentally, it is a steal!

Beautiful and spacious hotel near the river. There is a nice big swimming pool in front of the rooms. Dinner and breakfast were great! I definitely recommend this place!
