The rooms are very confortable, the view is amazing and the nature hiking around is magical. You can émerge yourself into tea landscaping and see all the mountains. Situated in Nawalapitiya, 36 km from Kandy Royal Botanic Gardens, The Tea Cottage Resort & Spa features accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. This place is worth not just a detour but the whole trip to Sri Lanka. The road to get there from St Clair is a breathtaking ride through the tea plantations. The resort is beautifully designed and well kept. We received a free upgrade and our rooms had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the jungle and a river valley down below. Every detail of the décor of the rooms is tastefully picked and the result is elegant without pretense. The food was interesting, good and fairly priced, and served on a beautiful deck with a vista. The staff was friendly and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay and it will remain a high point in our two-week visit of Sri Lanka. Incidentally, it is a steal!

Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony, Golden Villa Kandy - "Free pickup from Kandy " is located in Kandy. It is a very nice apartment with very comfortable beds with good pillows and a kitchen with large fridge. Calm and quiet neighborhood. A very good option if you want to stay for a few days in Kandy. With PickMe you can be in the city centre within 10 min. Roveena is a wonderful host who wants to help with everything, like transport or go to the Kandyan dancers, go to a nearby hotel with swimming pool (extra charge to use that pool). She also does tours to Dambulla, really nice. We had a very pleasant stay and would highly recommend this place. Would give an 11 if possible 😉

The owners were so nice it was like home away from home they prepared beautiful vegetarian dinner for us and a packed breakfast as we left early, beautiful clean room with super comfy beds I would definitely return.

It was the best decision to visit this beautiful, unique, and antique place before the New Year. The place where you can totally reconnect with nature and your true self. The peace you feel at Samadhi brings you to total rest and rejuvenation. The staff is incredibly friendly and treats you like family. I'm grateful to all these amazing people who did really take care of me and provided me with interesting experiences and sightseeing. The food, which is cooked on real fire, is so authentic and delicious. I did Ayurvedic treatment at Samadhi, and it was my first experience. It was not easy for me, I must say 🤣. But the support I was given from all the team members definitely made me go through this easier. The Ayurvedic doctor is real professional with a great sense of humor, which made me laugh, and at the same time, I knew I was in good hands. You must meet the owner of this hotel, Mr. Waruna. You won't regret it. Those deep conversations we had, I will never forget. I will definitely be coming back, and I highly recommend this place to all the travelers who are looking for rejuvenation.
