Aethos Saragano is a resort surrounded by the Umbrian countryside, in the medieval village of Saragano Gualdo Cattaneo, It features an outdoor pool overlooking the landscape. The style of hotel is unique with it being spread out within the village. The staff are outstanding, Paul makes everyone feel so welcome and it's obvious that he has a great rapport with the staff. The restaurant was one of our favourites in Italy and I wish we had stayed longer so we could have tried more of the food. We did the cooking class which was a lot of fun and Delfina is so passionate about her food - it's obvious why the restaurant is so good. On our last night we had dinner at the poolside BBQ which was amazing. It was one long table and we were able to eat with the other guests who we'd had the occasional chat with during our stay, but this dinner really allowed us to connect further - so fun! We spent a lot of time by the beautiful pool relaxing which is just what we needed at the end of a busy holiday exploring other parts of Italy.

A villa of the 18th century, Borgobrufa Spa Resort is located on the hill 4 km from Torgiano. It offers a free spa, panoramic views of the Umbrian countryside and a gourmet restaurant. The food, the view and the SPA were very good, we got upgraded. Pleasant staff. All just perfect.

The house is fantastic and every detail has been thought of - the garden is equipped with a bbq, lots of spaces to sit and relax (lots of shade), and a jacuzzi. The living room has a pool table that can be turned into a table tennis table and is for private use. The kitchen is lovely ( a typical ‘country kitchen ‘) and is also very well equipped (even oil, salt, pepper, coffee etc is available for use). Three of the bedrooms have double beds and another bedroom has two single beds. The mattresses are (unlike many holiday homes) very comfortable! The house is located in a small village. Despite the fact that it is very small, there are two very good restaurants, a bakery and a bar! The nearest supermarket is 3 km away. Assisi is about 13 minutes driving from the house. The host is super friendly and responds very quickly to any questions. We also received some great tips for places to visit. We definitely recommend this place!!
