A corner of paradise in the heart of Umbria, just 8 km from Assisi and 15 km from Perugia. Big, very clean and comfortable apartment - ideal for families. Great “vibe” of an Italian winery/mansion. Very nice and extremely helpful staff. The place is well located between Perugia and Assisi and so offers a wonderful base for sightseeing and wine-tasting trips.

The property’s restaurant CECI serves Italian cuisine on its terrace with panoramic views. The style of hotel is unique with it being spread out within the village. The staff are outstanding, Paul makes everyone feel so welcome and it's obvious that he has a great rapport with the staff. The restaurant was one of our favourites in Italy and I wish we had stayed longer so we could have tried more of the food. We did the cooking class which was a lot of fun and Delfina is so passionate about her food - it's obvious why the restaurant is so good. On our last night we had dinner at the poolside BBQ which was amazing. It was one long table and we were able to eat with the other guests who we'd had the occasional chat with during our stay, but this dinner really allowed us to connect further - so fun! We spent a lot of time by the beautiful pool relaxing which is just what we needed at the end of a busy holiday exploring other parts of Italy.

Located 2 km from Lake Trasimeno, I Capricci Di Merion is an Art Nouveau building in the Umbrian countryside. It offers a traditional restaurant, country-style rooms, an outdoor pool with a hydromassage corner and lake views and an indoor pool with transparent walls with olive grove view, equipped with a waterfall, hydromassage and chill-out corner. Extremely welcoming staff and beautiful location. We arrived late in the evening and they prepared for us some cured meats and cheeses and extended the check-out to allow more time to enjoy the SPA. Very well-curated room and location. We recommend and definitely will be back.

Parking and Wi-Fi are free. Gorgeous property overlooking Perugia and the gorgeous vineyards and hills of Umbria. The spa and its services were top notch and the staff made sure we had a wonderful and relaxing stay. We loved the outdoor hot tub in our room. This hotel and stay was the highlight of our trip to Italy!

The kitchen is lovely ( a typical ‘country kitchen ‘) and is also very well equipped (even oil, salt, pepper, coffee etc is available for use). Three of the bedrooms have double beds and another bedroom has two single beds. The mattresses are (unlike many holiday homes) very comfortable! The house is located in a small village. Despite the fact that it is very small, there are two very good restaurants, a bakery and a bar! The nearest supermarket is 3 km away. Assisi is about 13 minutes driving from the house. The host is super friendly and responds very quickly to any questions. We also received some great tips for places to visit. We definitely recommend this place!!
