Beautiful property, the owners are great, the room, the amenities, the drinks and snacks they have available (extra purchase), the location blocks away from restaurants, the breakfast well prepared! Don’t remember another place I stayed with such great cost benefit.

De Kloof Heritage estate is a Cape Dutch boutique hotel and spa , is just a few minutes walk into the heart of Swellendam. It has a 12-metre outdoor pool and spa with panoramic mountain views. De Kloof Estate is a gem. Historic, attractive and wonderfully restored. The rooms were well decorated and well done, especially the bath rooms. The staff was very professional and attentive. The breakfast was fantastic. I highly recommend the De Kloof Estate. BP

Situato a Ceres, Houdenbek Farm Cottages dispone di un giardino, barbecue e terrazza. Il parcheggio privato è disponibile a un costo aggiuntivo. For us this was again stop-over for one night. We had a large living with inside braai (which we did not use as such), two bed rooms and a bath room. There is no dinner nor breakfast location nearby so you have to be self-supporting. The surroundings are lovely.

Situato a Robertson, a 6 km dalla Springfield Estate, il Grand Hotel Robertson offre una piscina all'aperto, un parcheggio privato gratuito, un bar e un salone in comune. Our room was beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean (much like the rest of the hotel). The bedding and toiletries provided were of a high standard, and there was a general feeling of luxury. Fridge provided, along with kettle/tea and coffee. We very much appreciated the early check-in and the complimentary glass of wine. Wifi was strong and there was secure parking onsite. Added bonus of two beautiful in-house dogs! The owners were helpful and personable, and Amanda was kind enough to drive us to and from the train station in the hotel's own black cab. All the staff we encountered were friendly and engaging. The pool area was immaculate and set amongst very pretty plants. Comfy day beds, very clean pool, towels provided etc. We had dinner and breakfast at the restaurant, and both were good. Prices for food and drinks very reasonable. Would not hesitate to return if we're in the area again.

The breakfast was wonderful with loads of choices all included. The coffee was great and the staff were all very friendly and professional. I will definitely stay again when we are next in the area.

Situated in Barrydale, 35 km from Grootvadersbosch Nature Reserve, Karoo Art Hotel features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. My stay at the Karoo Art Hotel felt like a home away from home! From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, friendly, and made me feel genuinely welcome. The hotel has a variety of charming spaces to relax in—whether soaking up the sun on the beautiful stoep, unwinding in the cosy bar, or admiring the exquisite art and stunning furniture arranged throughout. The food was simply outstanding! I enjoyed breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the restaurant, and every meal was top-notch, thanks to the exceptional chef Derek Lowe. My room was spacious, spotless, and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the small balcony provided a breathtaking view. Overall, I absolutely loved my stay and can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!
